FUCKING SHITTTTTTTTTTT!!!! This is how you come back after 3 years and 4 months! What in the fuck did I just watch?!?!
This was such a good episode, and totally had me on the edge of my seat the ENTIRE time!

For context, if Gi-hun spent 1 won every second, it would take him 34 years to spend 1 billion won. Now multiply that by 45. That's the resources he has available for his search. I'm from Ukraine and we all here grow up on dubbed movies and shows, a vast amount of people have never watched anything in English let alone Korean, so it's a completely normal thing here, and Ukrainians love our dub, even though it's a bit worse than English imo, so I watched both seasons in English, but now that I'm rewatching, together with season 1, I'm more than happy to experience the original version

That and sometimes there's an inherent vibe/attitude through the original voice (most notably in Japanese anime for me vs. dubs) that doesn't come across the same way in the dub, which can lessen the impact of the scene's intent.

I thought in the moment it was recency bias, but over the last couple weeks as I've had more of a chance to let it marinate, I've realized that no, I genuinely do like season two a little better, and I think in large part for what you mention: it feels like they did a better job developing more of the side characters. We got a little of that in season one but it was pretty limited to two or three people outside of Gi-hun. This one, they really created a great cast of supporting players.
