Giant fucking weird devil owl?! Shit was wild!!! Also, I've never seen Tomb Raider or Indiana Jones, but this episode gave me Avatar x Tomb Raider x Indiana Jones vibes for some reason.
Also, the fact that part of this episode took place in an underground library is pretty fucking rad!

2025-01-09 16:19:22 +0000 UTCIt's not shown to be that common in LOK either. I can't say too much in fear of spoiling Alex but you only ever see a handful of people that actively use it. There are even powerful fire benders in this series that SHOULD be able to use it but obviously can't.

Like Zuko was trying to lightning bend but he couldn't, some people can earth bend but not sand bend or at least sand bend to a higher skill level like the sandbenders do making little tornados of sand to move their sand sailers

2025-01-08 18:32:33 +0000 UTCAs others have said, sand bending is just earth bending. However, since earthbenders train to move hard solid rock they aren't used to sand. They would have to train as if it's a whole other element. It's why Toph couldn't really do anything. But unlike lightning, it's something every earthbender COULD do with training whereas not every firebender can bend lightning.
