The suicide squad can comfortably and reasonably be perfectly enjoyed in a bubble. You dont need to know anything going in and everything is well explained. Theres not critical plot points or story bits that wont be understood

I just see good in the movie experience and I was stating that no sequel has been suggested to be watched without the first. Not every movie is going to be amazing but it's in the timeline (no matter what the public would rather forget). Also, James Gunn himself said none of the movies before the upcoming Superman is canon to the universe he's building so all the released DCEU movies would just be for the experience

For all we know, he has never even heard of a lot of these movies. Actually when we did the one-off movie poll Nov 12, it was full of franchise movies including Terrifier, Scary Movie, Prince Caspian, & Ted which is what ended up winning 😐

No need to watch the garbage first one which isnt canon anymore. All you need to know going into this is that they take villians, put bombs in them and send them on missions.

I know majority of people don't like the first one but it's the movie after the Batman v. Superman movie (which we watched on here) and there is a plot development for Harley Quinn and multiple movies between the first Suicide Squad and the 2021 one.

Both Kick-Ass & Pacific Rim have a sequel. Dumb & Dumber has a prequel with a new, younger cast but I doubt many people would expect him to watch that.
