This is true. But it's also their characteristics. The fire nation is really ambitious. Earth and air are really grounded. Earth in a non spiritual way and air spiritual grounded. And the water tribe is really isolated so they are more focused on survival then technological improvements.

also the fire nation has access to more efficient equipment and weapons because their nation can forge metal better and their lands are in volcanic terrain and mine the lands that’s where they get their metals from i’m assuming, but also as the war goes on they take over whatever earth nation villages have for their resources and use the people they capture as a slave labor force as we’ve seen before with Haru

Never thought it would be exactly the same but who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to cram that many important plots into one episode. I understand you only have a limited number of episodes to work with but why would you include useless scenes like azula and Ozai this early on taking away time from more important plots I the first season. Just so many baffling decisions doesn’t surprise me that the og show runners quit the live action
