Maybe even a lot but you can't put everything in the 2 hours. I feel the movies did a perfectly wonderful job of bringing the wizarding world to life.

I was in love with the first Jurassic Park movie before a friend of mine told me about scenes that happen in the book and I decided to read it. After that I couldn’t enjoy the movie anymore. I liked the visuals but it felt disjointed to me. It’s the same for lord of the rings. I absolutely love the visuals and the art team but can’t stand what they did to the story.

She is literally so feisty and such a badass in the books, she calls Harry out on his bullshit, but she’s also really compassionate and a fantastic friend. She and Harry have a lot in common, they’re really good together. Actually, the movies do almost all of the Weasley siblings dirty. The only ones that were done sort of well were the twins. I really hope they do a better job in the HBO series.

Why did they skip that in the movie that was like a big deal of symbolism and everything in the book I mean it’s it’s literally getting to the point where they should’ve called us something completely different. They could’ve called it like Barry Trotter, and the order of the squirrel or something I mean seriously this has nothing to do with the books at this point they’ve completely cut everything out. The plot doesn’t even make sense anymore.

You don’t even know what it is. They never explain it. They don’t talk about it. They’ve cut out so much stuff that you don’t understand what the hell is going on. It’s almost like they expect everybody to have read the books and know what these obscure items are, but then they change how they’re used which makes the understanding of them from the books pointless. Honestly, I’ve never been as angry at a movie adaptation as I have been for the Harry Potter movies. It’s almost as if the script riders were just taking a big shit all over the books.

2025-01-02 05:13:09 +0000 UTCWell, they kind of just burned right through that whole sequence where they have to get all their friends on the back of the test rolls yeah since they can’t see them since none of them have witnessed death except for Potter and Luna they should’ve at least had a brief moment, where we see The invisible test rules from the perspective of like Ron or something sitting there floating in the air riding something they can’t see, but they didn’t even do that. They just had them fly to lunch without even explaining how any of them were able to get on those and ride.

2025-01-02 05:00:06 +0000 UTCIs this is part of the problem they rushed through and skipped over so many scenes that when they got to the center scene, they had to completely rewrite it rather than just doing what it does in the book and you still don’t have any contacts as to why the centers are angry or any of that stuff cause it kind of skipped over that whole plot They really should’ve done this as a Netflix series or prime series. You know something that they could’ve done eight or nine episodes. We are one hour episodes and actually tell the story properly although it would actually have to be more like 20 episodes or something like that to really do it justice. I think the audiobook is like 28 hours Long Something like that

There is so much stuff that happens before we even reached the point where you started saying oh now it’s picking up And they just glossed over all of it. I mean, there’s a lot of intense shit that happens a lot of buildup that really boils your blood and makes you really wonder what the hell is going on this book the actual book is really good and has really good pay off, but requires all this storytelling to happen that they cut out of this movie Which is probably why this movie seems so flat and boring.

I mean honestly all these kids did a really good job with their characters considering that this script in all of these scripts are vastly different than what the books are and it just seems like they didn’t get to utilize their characters characterizations When making these movies they had to change all of their characters, mannerisms and interests and pretty much everything about them that made the characters them they had to change for the movies

I can’t remember which but somebody’s one supposed to be broken and that’s why they have accidents during the defense against the door cards training in the room of requirement or am I just remembering this? I need to go back and read the books again just to make sure I got that part right But it seems like they’ve skipped a bunch of stuff at the beginning of this book. That is really important for the story and now there’s no explanation as to why things are happening.

It’s like they couldn’t figure out a way to discuss the discovery of such a Roehm so they just made him find it in the book. It’s a little bit more involved. Maybe they had to do it this way because it just couldn’t be translated. I don’t know. All I know is that this whole movie is ridiculous when compared to the books.

2025-01-02 03:51:57 +0000 UTCThey don’t call it Dumbledore‘s army right then that name comes about later after they’ve already met in the secret chambers and it’s usually just a it was like a goof name originally it was defense against the dark cards you know defensive arts, DA and then as a joke, they called it Dumbledore‘s army This movie really did just jump way ahead and every scene they like combined scenes from the beginning of the book and scenes at the end of the book and put them right smack in the middle. This is the main reason why I think that all of these really epic books. These really thick long books should never be made into movies they should be made into series That way they can spend eight hours or 12 hours telling the story of the book and they can do every single scene as it happened in the book rather than skipping and cutting things together and cutting characters out and adding new characters in that that are just there to speed the story along faster they need to actually take the time to do exactly what was written in the book Word for Word

The books are really really good in these movies are just really piss poor adaptations. It is sad that J. K. Rowling turned into a psychotic nut job, but at least before she lost her mind She did write some really good stories. I think that after writing this book series, the reason why she lost her mind was because she couldn’t write any more stories. This was it and she just couldn’t handle not being able to write anymore.
