Ok. This is the FIRST episode where Aang actually annoyed me and pissed me off a little bit. I understand that the kid is like 12 but really he's 112! I don't know what it was about this one. Maybe he is just anxious and excited to learn, but he was ANNOYING.
That being said, he is such a cool character and likable dude, so we'll give him the benefit of the doubt! The honest truth is he is such a fucking badass, but yeah, this episode was a little frustrating.
Proved to be an awesome episode int he sense of Aang learning a lesson. That was really cool to see!

I know you’re long past this, but just wanted to add my own thoughts cuz I’m seeing these reactions for the first time: Aang has been frozen for 112 years, he hasn’t lived 112 years. His wisdom is literally just a 12 year old. Anything that does pertain to wisdom was what he learned being an air bender raised by monks with Buddhist related beliefs

This will get you more views than the entire series in one video. HOWEVER, I personally think you should split book 3 into 2 video for reasons I cannot get into at this point in time.

At that age, everyone was impetuous and impatient and stupid and insecure. Aang hasn’t had the opportunity to grow past that yet.

After waking up he assumed he had only been in the ice for a few days :P I totally get your frustration with aang this episode though. He isn’t ready for fire right now, but that’s what character arcs are for lol (also to be fair to aang, he was taught air bending by gyatso in a very gentle and playful manner. There was no way for him to Be ready for fire yet, but in his mind this could very well be his only chance to learn fire bending, so he felt like he had to at least try)

And anyone who loves this show will tell you that each season is better than the one before it. You mentioned the music in a previous reaction. That's the thing that first really hit me the first time I watched it. In the first 2 episodes, I enjoyed the fun, and action, the characters, but in parts was this undercurrent of something deeper in the music. I found it very compelling.
