It's fitting that last episode was my least favorite, by far, because THIS episode is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE of the show... at least up to this point!

POWERFUL story in an engaging way that still has humor without taking away the impact and balancing the dark and lights of both characters by having zukos hopeful in contrast to aangs trauma and then the flip with seeing zukos trauma after aangs tale has been given allowing us to breathe between both trauama.s beuatiful episode all around eidting voicing all of it.

And his father sent him on this mission never truly believing Zuko would ever capture the avatar as he had been missing for 100 years. Like it’s so terrible

If I remember correctly to become a master you must invent your own airbending move, Aang invented the air scooter making him the youngest airbending master at the time. He was later replaced by Jinora from The Legend of Korra, Aang’s granddaughter

While on the otherhand they did Aang’s part much worse. Changing the whole plot of Aang running away to him simply wanting some air. It took away all of the trauma of his character. Also you should recognize the voice actor for the firelord. It’s fkin Mark Hamill!!! Dudes was has played Luke, The Joker, and even the gd Fire lord dudes truly a legend

2024-12-06 16:49:28 +0000 UTCTo clear things up, the arrow has nothing to do with the fact that Aang is the Avatar, it means that he is a Master of Air bending (well being the avatar help to master element) but other monks can be master too without being the avatar, You become a Master when you masterise all techniques and create a new one (the air scooter ball he does in the intro) Plus fact : Aang is the youngest air bender to became a Master and receiving the arrow

2024-12-05 22:00:55 +0000 UTCAs an airbender, you can earn your master tattoos either by mastering all the airbending forms or inventing an entirely new airbending technique. Aang invented the air scooter (that little air ball he like to ride around on) thus becoming the youngest master airbender in history up to that point. Also, when he's in the avatar state, his tattoos glow because they are directly on his xi pathways. For non-airbender avatars only the eyes glow, as you saw with Roku. I felt comfortable yapping this much because none of this is explicitly explained in the show

It's sad because Aang was gonna be sent away by the one person that looked out for him. But everyone he knew was ripped away from him regardless. This show is really dark with a lot of adult topics in it that a child wouldn't care or notice.
