This episode was a fun one to start out today. Katara got super fucking jealous!! HAHAHA. And then FUCKING PIRATES?!?! Wtf!?
Seeing how fast Aang picked up water bending was super interesting to see because it really shows the difference between a typical bender and the fucking Avatar!

2025-02-27 17:02:35 +0000 UTCOk not too much in my girl, she hasn’t had anyone to ever teach her water bending fr and I get it would be frustrating to watch aang do it with no effort even if he is the avatar. And it’s a good thing for her to learn and improve her skills so she can be more help when they have to fight fire benders or any other challenge they come to face. Like how is she supposed to get better if she doesn’t learn?

2024-12-14 22:21:25 +0000 UTCI’ve said it in a different video but book 1 is really a uilding season. You see how other nations were affected by the war, learn about the spirit world, more backstory. So I appreciate it and all of its world building. And when the show gets serious it’s serious but it is a kids show first and foremost so these breaks are fun and necessary. Sometimes I wish it was at least tv-14 they could benefit from some curse words and a tiny bit of violence lol, but I’ve only thought that as I’ve gotten older. I still love every bit of it

2024-12-06 20:33:03 +0000 UTCThey go into it more but the 4 bending elements actually have polarities between one another. For example air bending style is the opposite of air bending. Air bending one most let go of earthly attachment while for earth bending you must stay grounded to the earth. Air and water bending on the other hand are quite similar. With water bending revolving around moving with the flow of life around you. Long story short an air ending avatar will have an hard time learning earthbending while an easier time with water bending. While a water bending avatar may have issues learning firebending but picks up earth bending easily
