THIS TRAILER HITS HARD!!! I am honestyl extremely excited for this live action remake! WAY MORE excited for this one than I have been for just about any other movie they did a live action remake for!
What do you guys think about it? I'm so glad they kept Toothless cute hahaha
I saw some original mockups for him, and it was... scary.

With the clothes and hair- I didn't recognize her immediately which is a problem from a prospective. The characters are meant to be instantly recognized but Astrid doesn't have her iconic blond hair and spiked shoulders-

2024-12-04 22:22:20 +0000 UTCThe problem is..... the look alike actor might not actually be a really good actor and actually fuck up the character. That's why i thought for example that Bella Ramsey was great as Ellie. She doesn't look like her but she embodied the character perfectly.

With the drama around Astrid, I don’t really care about that but I care about her armor, it’s supposed to have spikes to symbolize her hard toughness and she mellows out through the movies with her armor and clothes… just little things that worry me. (Also her clothes shouldn’t be red till the 2nd movie cause that’s hiccups color and it’s when she gets with hiccup but they gave her red right from the get go)
