Avatar: The Last Airbender | Book 1 | Episode 6 - "Imprisoned" (FULL EPISDOE REACTION)

What's up, everyone?!

This episode was actually really enjoyable! I think the thing I liked most about it was we really got to see Katara's arc start to develop, and we got a little bit of insight into her natural tendencies.

She is brave as fuck! Also, she is such a badass! Saving an entire earth -bending village?! She could have easily have just dipped out, but she didn't. This episode was phenomenal!

Love you guys so much! Are you all enjoying this ride so far?

Alex

You really start to see the war trauma imparted on the children in this episode

I love haru and Katara, like they could’ve had a little kiss on the cheek AT LEAST

AllyBoo124

FYI Dave Filoni from Clone Wars directed this episode. He got hired at Lucasfilm based on his success in this show.

Jonathon Farr

Ah gotcha, good to know

Joe V

Dee Baker voiced Admiral Trench and while he's very talented, it was George Takei who voiced the Warden.

Chosaku_

I hear it

LoreKing

Im pretty sure the guy who is voicing the warden is the same guy who voices for Admiral Trench from clone wars

sometimes i forget how much i love this tv series, but then i get to see someone else loving it

Clouds and Cloud byproducts

everytime you post an avatar video it makes my day

Clouds and Cloud byproducts

Hey Alex, at some point the video of the episode starts to lag behind the audio by a second or two, just so you know.

DarnedStingray8

Each of the 4 bending styles is based on a different irl martial art

Sam Swift

The guy you said that sounded like someone in Mulan is actually Dee Bradley Baker aka the voice of all clones in The Clone Wars and also voice of Momo and Appa.

I like this one a lot. Ofcourse there are a lot better episodes. But Katara is my favorite character. And this is a great Katara episode.

Thomas

Nah it’s totally enjoyable now. Sure it gets better but bad it is not

Oliver

The one with iroh and let’s say *his Picknick on the hill*

Mentally already not ready for tales of ba sing se. The most traumatic episode for me 😢

I agree with crack dobby. Imprisoned is notorious for being one of the worst episodes in the series. Much like the office the first season of avatar is known for being the weakest, but it’s so essential for understanding the story. Thanks for sticking through and watching an important part of so many of our childhoods

Abel Le-Zuniga

I'm really sorry if you're having to pretend you enjoy the show, like you did at the beginning of clone wars, but from about the halfway mark of book one, the episodes are actually good. Imprisoned is one of the worst episodes of the show tbh
