Since that time, it was my Mother who took care of me and helped me fix my mistake. Also, since then, my mom had many dept to pay, so i have been doing part time jobs to help her back , even if it is a small amount, it is my way to say : thank you mom. Even now i'm still working to help her , even though i'm 23 years old

2024-11-20 21:02:28 +0000 UTCThis reminds me of how I randomly compliment strangers. I worked in retail and had to interact with alot of people. And I remember getting complimented once and how I felt, and thought why not make others feel good like that? Because in my line of work I had regulars that came in daily, and lots of strangers as well, talking to me about things they were going through, or talking negatively about themselves etc. And I've been there myself so I know how it feels. And I thought, just being a friendly face when they came into the store, and randomly giving them a compliment, could make someone's day. So I started doing it and you can see in many people's faces and body language afterwards. Some people come in, looking mad, not talking at all, and then leave with a little smile. So after that I started doing it often. I still do it when I'm out in public now, as I don't work in retail now. But I'll just find anything to give them a compliment for. Their clothing, makeup, hair, perfume, something about them as a person, etc. And it makes you feel better as well.
