Tales of the Jedi Ep. 3 - "Choices" (FULL EPISODE REACTION)

Hey guys!

I'm starting to really notice some similarities across multiple different characters now. For instance, seeing Dooku's arc here and how he starts to turn to the dark side, it's almost understandable.

He's like Anakin in the sense that he is starting to see how fucking stupid the Jedi counsel can be. You start to see the frustration and annoyance that is brewing up in Dooku. I can empathize with the choice to go to the Dark side a little more.

Can you guys?

Love you all,
Alex

Tales of the Jedi Ep. 3 - "Choices" (FULL EPISODE REACTION)

Comments

The Jedi of this era ABSOLUTELY had major imperfections. They were so dogmatic in politics and tradition that it was a huge part of their own downfall. Dooku was ahead of the times seeing it beforehand. He simply took the wrong road trying to fix it, and lost his way entirely. His story is a tragic one. The Jedi were FAR from perfect in the republic era.

You should think about reordering your collections once your done with whatever series your doing because it wants to auto-pay from top to bottom and the way you have your collections ordered it autoplays the last episode even if I just started the collection. You know just an idea

Heterochromia. Having two different colored eyes. I have it with Brown and Green.

A lot like the democratic party today.

Also most Star Wars fans whove seen all of the shows are disillusioned with the Jedi. Their downfall was their own doing and ignorance. Although they’re who we root for, they were insanely flawed

Greg Irons

Actually, there is another season to this show. It's just that they changed the name of it to Tales of the Empire.

Demon of Empire

Personally, while the Jedi certainly are flawed I would say that they are one still a very large net positive but also keepers of the peace meaning that in both instances they were responding to an initial action of violence and it is only afterwards that they find out some form of corruption that we don't see how they deal with it. That being said they were drawn into the war which was their biggest mistake but in some ways a necessary one.

“I feel like he’s bout to take me to Red Lobster” 🤣 That’s why I love your reactions Alex. 😂🙏😂

There IS another season. But it's Star Wars: Tales of the Empire. But from the thumbnails there are characters in that you don't know yet. Best to wait till after Rebels, The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and the others.

The complexity of the situation, is what makes the story so rich. So many « what if » could have change the story (or not) and this is why I like all the different Star Wars content because they give depth to the the story and the characters.

I mean the jedi are a cult

E-Hensley

And they were right to doubt him bc they clearly were accurate but I agree their partially at fault with how they handled telling him that he needs to remove attachments. But the dude who made the video is acting like the council is entirely to blame for the jedi going to the dark side but in reality it was bc they were mainly power hungry or heavily manipulated.

JP

He was groomed for years by Palpsy! It’s the Jedis who lacked faith and doubted him at every turn telling him he was the chosen one but not embracing the fact and acting like it. Their lack of faith pushed Anakin right in the cracks created by Palps. And of course Anakin let himself be played. It’s an everyone messed up/sucked situation. Which is why it’s so good!

Idk how old dooku is at THIS time, but at his death in 19BBY, he is about or over 80 years old. That mf can fight for an elderly man

Michael

One thing they are really highlighting with clone wars, bad batch, and these doolu episodes is that aside from the genuinely evil parts there are many membyof the separatist movement that had a genuine Reason for wanting to separate due to unfair treatment by the rich and powerful such as mina bonteri and these extremists albeit the extremists went too far but their motives were plausible. Fooku would use this to form the separatists although he would be manipulated by sidous for his greater goals like maul before him and eventually Anakin after him

Sparks

If anakin listened to the order none of those visions he saw would’ve happened. He was to attached and caused padmes death. He himself said he wanted more. His greed for power caused his turn

JP

That's not true yes ego and greed for power is fuel to dark side but that's doesn't mean it's not justified Anakin was hungry for power but he's reason was protecting his loved ones dooku ego was a factor but he seen how corrupted republic was even when other Jedi protectors of peace were blind to that all through clone wars dark side is so apeling because is reasonable

Franke Games

The council plays a part in leaving the Jedi but the overarching reason is the want for power

JP

Naming a dog Cat is wild

Mad Lad Wizard

There’s no justifiable reason to join the dark side other than ego and greed for power. What’s reasonable is to just leave the order like Ashoka

JP

A dog named Cat? That's some animal cruelty right there.
