Help w/ The Clone Wars

Hey guys!

Seems like everyone is on board for an Episode 3 rewatch at some point before or during Season 7 of Clone Wars.

My question to you all is WHEN?! When do I watch episode 3 again? Before we start Season 7 or before we watch a specific arc, or when?!

Helpppppppppppppppp

PS: I've learned that there is NO CONSENSUS with Star Wars fans. No matter what we choose, someone will be upset and will say I'm doing it wrong, but I aim to please the masses lol.

Comments

I think finishing the clone wars, rewatching episode 3, then starting bad batch would be the best choice. My opinion tho. Love the reactions

Caverty

Don't worry only potentially spoiled a huge part of the show and left the spoiler up for a week.. 🥴 yet has the audacity to immediately reply to me saying I don't know what I'm talking about🤣 Get with the program bud. Jeez

Kobain Hine(Kyber)

I know this doesn't totally answer your question, but after finishing Clone Wars I think you should watch CLONE WARS: BATTLE OF THE HEROES from the youtube channel Hello There. It's a fan animation of the Obi-Wan vs Anakin fight from Revenge of the Sith, but in the Clone Wars animation style and with the Clone Wars voice actors. Don't get me wrong, the movie version of that fight is amazing. But seeing that fight play out with the Clone Wars versions of the characters, after spending 7 seasons with them, really hits different.

NeonKurai

Now don't go assuming I did this on purpose. If you really think that then maybe you should do the time to look for every one of my comments before assuming you have any idea what you're talking about. I made a mistake get over it. You being an ass over it doesn't help anything. Have a great day buddy.

Anthony Peru

Yea unfortunately he’s probably read some of the spoiler comments :(

Charlie Fontana

If you could read you would see I obviously acknowledge that and am saying he should watch them again. .

Jaxon Takis

Indeed, seems some people don't care at all about others and feel perfectly happy to spoil things and leave until there's something else to spoil then they pop up again🤣🤦‍♂️

Kobain Hine(Kyber)

Maybe you should now delete this

Justin Straw

And you should delete this too

Lucas Persson

Watch it before the Last the Arc. I feel like that will be the easiest. The last arc and Episode 3 link up for the last 3 episodes

Nick

Bruh if you’ve been a long time fan, then you would understand that he has seen all of the movies already

RJ Torres-Encinias

Dude he doesn’t know Ahsoka is back please delete this.

Alex Georgiadis

Yea I’d prolly say watch before episode 9 of s7

Charlie Fontana

Javier Menendez

Nope🤦‍♂️ not even a third way through star wars content yet still got all the shows and more movies to go, doesn't matter if you dislike it, doesn't mean someone else shouldn't watch it, i hate the sequels but I think seeing alex's reaction to them would be both interesting and hilarious😂

Kobain Hine(Kyber)

Revenge starts at the middle of ep 9 and happens parallel throughout ep 9-12. So there is really no good option. Watching Revenge before, after, or half way through ep 9 is just as valid as watching it after ep 12.

Peter H

Ooh, that's tricky, it's best when you kinda fuse them. Can't you ask someone to do it for you?

Kate Archer

I believe revenge of the sith is set after episode 9 or 10 been awhile since over watched season 7

Nightmareman99

ALEX! Watch GRIMM! PLEASE!!!!

Kripke's Corner

After episode 9 1000%

Connor Ross

Watch revenge of the sith after you finish watching season7 ep 9.

Connor Ross

Yeah my bad

Joshua Mattingly

When people type spoilers so bluntly 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

Kitty 24

Clone wars should be his last Star Wars thing reaction period.

Kitty 24

Just watch episode 3 by yourself before the last 4 episodes of season 7, you don’t have to make a video out of it unless you absolutely want to. Also I understand the fact that at there is no consensus on anything of Star Wars, so just take my advice for one and do as you see fit

Michael

Bro delete this. For the love of god think before you type spoilers.

Alex Georgiadis

I also think it be really cool for you to go through and watch because I think if you paid attention and you try to keep in mind a lot of the information you’ve gained from the show, watching all six movies is going to be a very different experience for you. This is a very cool thing about Star Wars is that there’s so much that connects That kind of blow your mind. There’s going to be things like events and characters that you recognize in the movies from the show that you would’ve had no idea about them at all from just watching the movies and not the show. It’s very cool.

Jaxon Takis

Hey Alex, I’ve been following you for a long long time. Like back when you first discovered Metallica long time haha. I don’t know if it’s possible for you to even read this with everyone else’s comments, but I just wanted to put my input. I know this could be a lot, but I have been slightly noticing that it’s not just things from episode three that I think you need to refresher on. They are very important things that happened throughout all six movies that I’ve noticed that I think you don’t remember And I think the longer you wait from seeing all six movies the more you’re not going to get and the less the show is going to fully serve it’s purpose. I’m sure time is limited, but I think it would be really cool if you would do a reaction to all six movies Again. You can finish on episode three like you did last time and then after that watch season seven of the clone wars.(I actually don’t care when you do it in relation to season 7 but I just think doing more than episode 3 is important. Anyways, wish you all the best in the world man.

Jaxon Takis

Honestly man you should watch Episode 3 (Revenge of the Siths) right after Episode 8 of Season 7 because the last arc is it's own thing and a finale in itself which explains why it had its own trailer and everything. You'd be in that same loop of getting answers then more questions if you finished CW first so better watch the movie first to have the context needed to go in the last arc.

yoannblanger

#spoiler....

Michael Müller

Ask 100 different star wars fans how to watch star wars and you'll somehow get 100 different answers

Andrew Sitek

Before the last arc if anything. It's not relevant for the first 2 arcs.

CoFro

Dude...

Culper (Lukas)

Personally, whether you watch episode 3 before the last arc or before season 7, it doesn't matter much. It is a few weeks difference. We as the audience just want you, Alex, to have a good viewing experience and grasp the timeline regarding certain things.

Culper (Lukas)

He posted the Yoda arc yesterday. Do you mean before the last arc of season 7?

Culper (Lukas)

I’d say probably before the end of season 6

Joshua Mattingly

Please make it as reaction video for atleast Patreon exclusive reaction.

Joovain

Watch it after

AdermGaming

Personally, I watch episode 3 after the Clone Wars. But the show will give you more information about what happens in the movie and parts from the movie will bleed into the show, which is why I think people are so divided on this.

BryceIsRightJr

curious to see what he thinks about it thats why..tf else you think.

Farmer Jayy

He didnt know Ahsoka was coming back...

Skyde

Why would you want to watch that shit anyway

Skyde

im all for the clone wars stuff but when will we get the reactions to episode 7/8/9 of the films the newest trilogy

Farmer Jayy

Between episodes 8 and 9.

Brian Stanaland

Anthony Peru

Rewatch between Ep 8-9

fredywe1ss

Before the siege of mandalore and upload the rewatch please

Charley Stansbury-Bennett

Obviously everyone else is saying it but I’m going to say it too. Watch it after the first 8 episodes of season 7 and before the last 4.

Zachary Bogue

For your first time you should just rewatch it before ep9-12.

Blutch

Before Siege of Mandalore

Joovain

Watch it before the last arc!

Nina Gambino

You could get your editor to cut S7 and E3 together 😂 And switch from show to movie Nah but seriously i think finishing the show and then watchinh episode 3 right after makes most sense

Naggo

DON'T watch the supercut. It's bad for the first time. Watch episode 3 before the last arc (last 4 episodes)

Skyde

im fairly certain he doesn't remember Dooku died

Skyde

Nope not for the first time.

Alex Georgiadis

Dude you’ve asked for it like 4 times in the same post. The supercut for the first time is not a good idea.

Alex Georgiadis

No he should enjoy the episodes as they are. The supercut is fun to watch after you’ve seen everything but it’s just a bit confusing for the first time.

Alex Georgiadis

After the first two arcs and before the last one. Doesn’t really matter that much but we recommend right before the final four episodes so it stays fresh.

Alex Georgiadis

I think there is a version somewhere out there that mixes the two together so you know whats going on. But it might be a bit jarring as it is animated and then its irl.

Ahran Ghani Majid

Right before the last 4 episodes of season 7

Aaron Boone

I do think if you decided to do it before the last arc it would be good 👍

G Lord Robinson

Before the last 4 episodes

Wesley Davis

Yeah…

Kitty 24

There’s spoilers in the text from the link

Viking1723

Everything mentioned in the final arc Alex has mentioned during his recent Clone Wars reactions.

Kitty 24

THIS!!

DarnedStingray8

Well, if Alex has proven anything during the last arc, (not to mention Harry Potter) it's that he barely remembers the movies at all XD

DarnedStingray8

Do the super cut Alex please it puts the last four eps in the places of revenge of the sith

Harley Burgess

Watch it after the second to last episode as a separate perspective type thing for order 66, Thats what i’m doing

Jaden

Alex you should for sure do the super cut it’s awesome and will be a rlly cool way for u to rewatch ep 3 in a cool way that no other YouTuber has done I think it would be rlly cool to do

Harley Burgess

This and it has it all linked together rlly well https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/revenge-of-the-sith-the-clone-wars-4-hour-supercut-2020-v4-released/id/74865

Harley Burgess

Waiiit guyssss what ifffff he watched the cut that some guy did where he’s the last 4 episodes with revenge of the sith it all it’s like 4 hours and it has the last episodes and plays them where they fit into revenge of the sith

Harley Burgess

Am I the only person here that doesn’t understand why this is such a “problem”. Is there ties to revenge of the Sith; of course their would be. It would be expected before entering the show since it’s THE CLONE WARS. Even just watching the movie once(knowingly to us), you’ll still understand everything that happens as the events progress. Unless you forgot every major event of Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars in general, then there is little reason for it. Their is one tiny scene during the final arc and maybe the prologue of the final arc if you really want to get picky that this would pose any interest in this idea.

Kitty 24

I would say right before the final arc, which are the last few episodes. And pay attention because you will notice some major things in those episodes

Marc Post

I would recommend to do a rewatch after you finish the Clone Wars it will be easier that way!

Jack

Right before the last 4 episodes

Santi

I would watch it after CW. Don’t interrupt an arc. That kills the flow of the season. The last 8 episodes are supposed to be watched back to back

Oliver

also some people are saying to do a fan cut of the final arc spliced together with revenge of the sith. personally, I would strongly recommend against this. it’s fun to do as a second watch-through type of thing, but i personally think that for a first watch through you should always watch it in its original and intended form. the supercut is fun but the arc wasn’t made with that in mind. i think it completely changes the flow and pacing. so i would strongly strongly recommend just watching the arc by itself first and then maybe consider a rewatch of the supercut down the line if you wanted.

Victor

Before the last four episodes is the recommended time to watch it

Doon

i would recommend either before season 7 or the final arc. either is fine. it’s really most relevant to the final arc, and i’d definitely watch it some time before then so you remember everything and have the necessary context. after is also kinda valid because it might give you a different perspective on the movie but 6 seasons of clone wars will do that anyway. i’d say before is the better option.

Victor

Watch it before and after the final arc

SkywalkerBoy

Definitely before ep 9 to help you understand some of the references

Michael Seiber

🤣🤣 I can see that. Though, I feel like having "behind the scenes" knowledge of events might be more fun while watching the movie.

Ricky

I would differ to the group :)

Jacob Dawson

I second this suggestion!

Lanik Mueller

I didnt even know that existed

Nigiel Schroeder

Agreed that this is the best experience.

Lanik Mueller

Before the last 4 episodes

Tanner Murrell

Oh ive seen that. I've also seen the one with bad batch in it as well lol

LoreKing

I'd recommend finding an edit of Revenge of the Sith with episodes 9-12 spliced in. Best way to watch it in my opinion!

Lanik Mueller

Yeah that's fine for people who've watched it a fuck ton. But he only watched it once like, nearly a year ago.

LoreKing

Before the final arc. 9,10,11,12

LoreKing

Before episode 9

PKKite

Before episode 9 and you’ll remember when the references pop up

Desi Cr

Before episode 9!! Revenge of the Sith technically starts between 9 and 10, but those final four episodes are directed like one movie, so breaking it up would just be a distraction imo.

Brett Butterfield

If you're squeezing it in, for the emotional impact I would second this option as the last 3 episodes take place at the at the same time as the movie

Retro Tom

I say do it after watching season 7. I think it's interesting people seem to say watch it before/during the season. You already know the movie. Season 7 is going to give you something more. Watching the movie after everything gives you time and ability to reflect on the whole experience.

Ricky

You should rewatch it before episode 9. There’s references to events in the movie that you will have forgotten having only seen the movie once a long while ago.

Jared Mathews

Would watching ROS before clone wars mess up the schedule? Or would you post it on a different day than Wednesday?

Viking1723

I have it on a usb, no clue how I would share the file somewhere its probably massive

Nigiel Schroeder

Watch Revenge of The Sith before Episode 11 of Clone Wars Season 7. Or the very least before episode 10. The events will line up with the show. The episodes acknowledge events like Kenobi going after Grevious and Dooku being killed

Marquis keel

Watch episode 3 before the last 4 episodes

Ethan

I want this.

Rev

Very simple answer here, watch it before the last four episodes. There is sooooo much reference to Revenge of the Sith in those four episodes and having the movie fresh in your mind will make you appreciate the 4 episodes so much more.

Blake Marsh

Someone found the time stamps to watch the last 2 episodes while simultaneously watching episode 3 cuz they happen simultaneously and I dont wanna spoil it but some scenes match directly with the movie and the reactors that have done it the reactions came out beautifully kaiielle was one of them so maybe reach out to her

Marquis keel

Before the season cause u probably forgot everything but definitely before the last 4 eps

JP

The most common method I've seen is before the last 4 episodes of Season 7 (7x9 through 7x12). Without spoiling, the two previous arcs in the season don't have much relevance to the movie, whereas the last arc will be a lot more enjoyable with ROTS fresh in your mind.

Darth Nihilus

Between episode 9 and 10 is when episode 3 starts.

Jason M

Either right before you watch the last 4 episodes, or right after. If you do it before, you’ll catch more references.

ACGaming Presents

Start season 7. Once you get to see Anakian then go back and watch episode 3 then finish out the season. That way you see the full arc of his turn.

Nick Howser

I created a whole plan for how to watch the last arc, episode 3, and the bad batch all at the same time. You probably don’t want to do that, but I’d definitely do it at some point before the final arc

SkywalkerBoy

Watch episode 3 before season 7 episode 9!

CptCarter

I HAVE A COPY OF EPISODE 3 WITH CLONE WARS ARCS SPLICED IN, ITS THE BEST EXPERIENCE

Nigiel Schroeder

There are only three arcs in the season, but it is in my opinion. Pretty important that you do it before the last one, but doing it at the start of the season isn’t that bad

C Tuley

I prefer after season 7 as a whole

Wobble Stunts

Before last arc 👍🏻👍🏻

Andy McDonald

There are versions of the movie online where they combine the final clone wars arc with revenge of the sith (because they take place at the same time) you should watch it that way. It’s like 4 hours tho

Ethan

I say do it before, it'll hit harder.

dar7krides

Do it before season seven just as a refresher

Austin Wunderly

Probably after season 7, gives you a whole different view of why everything happened compared to the first time you watched it.

Kevin L.

Last arc! Puts more things into context

Sarah Nicole

Doing before S7 is easiest way to please everyone. However I’d argue it’s only necessary to rewatch before the final arc. As long as you do that, you can’t go too wrong!

Yeeticus

Before the last 4 episodes of season 7, so before episodes 9-12. That's what I do, anyway.

Rev

In between The 3rd and 2nd to last episode or before the final 4 episodes

Mad Lad Wizard

After Season 7. You'll understand why once ur done.

Demon of Empire

Right before the final arc.

Dallas Darnell

It happens DURING episode 3, so it really doesn't matter

Hermy

Rewatch episode 3 before or after season 7

Isaac Olson

Before the final arc would be best imo

Tim

I agree

David Rodriguez

Ah welcome to the toxic landscape of star wars Fandom

Lura Croftzs237

Before the last four episodes

Jack Galasso

AFTER season 7. The end of season 7 and episode 3 are running more or less side by side.

Jessie

Wait till after season 7 because it goes straight into ep 3

Zakk Z

I’d say before the last 4 episodes

Bmaster532

Watch at the end of clone wars and then start the bad batch

Dony Acevedo

I suggest doing the first 2 arcs and rewatch ep 3 right before the last arc

JDL

Either before the last arc or just after you finish the series

Lucas Chantler

At least before the last 4 episodes!

Josh Garcia

Before you start the season for sure, just to give you a refresher.

Randy Wesley

Rewatch episode 3 before the last four episodes of clone wars

Ivan B

I recommend watching it before the final arc. That’s when it would be most helpful to have your memory refreshed.

Louis Augeri

The movie is going on at the same time as the mandolorian siege arc

Josh Morris

watch it before the last arc

Joao Vitor

Just do it before S7 to be safe
