Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (FULL MOVIE REACTION)

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!! Seems like these weeks really fly by, don't they?! Well, we got the second Maze Runner movie today! To be 1000% honest, this movie was EXTREMELY FUN to watch! I was on the edge of my seat for the entire thing!
The zombies were insanely well done, buuuuuuuuuut I was pretty confused in terms of lack of context for the entire movie... After doing some research, I came to the general consensus that people think these movies were a very poor adaptation from the books...
Now, don't get me wrong, this was one of my favorite reactions, but I just wish they did a better job with the movies, and that's coming from someone who didn't even read the books. I can't imagine what my sentiment would be if I actually read all the books!

(Obviously the zombies) near the end of the movie: oh NOW we finally figure it out (after Brenda is infected and we see like 50 other infected/zombies) 😆, I feel like you were expecting an easy action movie lolol, the third one is my fave tho! And it will answer all those questions you are so frustrated about haha 🤣

It's hard to remember everything that way. What you could do is instead of making a poll for single movies. Do a poll for single films or franchises. And if we choose a franchise in the poll first finish the franchise. That way there is less time between the movies and it's easier to remember the information from the previous movie.

Well when Thomas is brought into the glade in the first film they show him a wall of names. One name in particular they lingered on longer than others….. A crossed out George. Now I’ve never read the books so I don’t know if this is just a little nod to the character added in the film or if it is actually cannon in the books so take it as you will

I understood the first movie after watching it once... more questions you have get answered in the last film.

I was deaf for nearly a week due to the crack and the heat was on a level I couldn't even describe. And I was 10ft away. I couldn't imagine being actually hit by it. Jesus.

I feel like the major problem is that you don't remember a lot from the first movie and/or you just weren't paying enough attention. Also, although this series isn't a perfect adaptation from the books, its still pretty good one. At least compared to all the recent adaptations we have been getting for content in recent years that have been trash.
