CLONE WARS TIME BABY!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe that we are FINALLY on one of the best arcs that everyone keeps talking about! The amount of excitement I have for this arc is UNREAL! I don't think I've ever been this excited about a Clone Wars arc throughout this entire watch through so far!
I am of course writing this after I watched it and OH MY GOSHHHHHHHHHH!!!! LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOO!!!!! I can't wait to continue on with the next 3 episodes!

"How can you trust" motherfucker, do you really think Hondo trusts anyone or anything? He sort of kind of trains a protégé at one point and is SO. FUCKING. PROUD when they betray him for the first time More importantly Maul truly does not, and can not, see Savage as anything but an apprentice. Even that feels a bit generous tbh. Savage was taken from his home and his family as an adult and force fed some dark side energies. That's why he never even thought about killing Feral. Maul was taken as an extremely young child and had to get all the same dark side influence put into him manually. He was tortured in every fashion and form the galaxy could think up. He never even had the opportunity to form familial ties. The closest thing he ever had to a father was Palpatine, in the brief breaks between torture sessions. The only reason that Maul will ever call Savage "brother" is to manipulate the weakness within him that's intrinsically tied to the desire for familial love.

2024-09-13 10:49:10 +0000 UTChey alex, its me again, sorry i really dont want to spam you but..please make sure to rewatch the prequel movies (at least episode 3) before the final 4 episodes of season 7. i think you can only benefit from it and will make the experience of the final so much better than it already is! also there are a lot of smaller characters in the clone wars show who actually apeard in the movies before but you didn’t recognized them back then. (at least watch it in private)

2024-09-12 23:28:00 +0000 UTCThe character acting of characters like Anakin, Darth Maul, and Ashoka are phenomenal for this last stretch of the season, just stellar work. Same can be said for the voice acting of Sam Witwer, he really made Maul into a true character with his skills.
