That is truly all I can say. I really feel like this episode could have been the season finale, but I guess we still have some of the story left untold. Where can they go from here?!!
Guys, serious question. Which season of The Punisher is better? 1 or 2? Season 1 has been SO FUCKING GOOD!!!! I can't imagine Season 2 could measure up.... does it?!?!

2024-11-01 00:22:52 +0000 UTCSo...yes...Frank Castle is a good man. He's flawed. He's broken. But he has a code that is ultimately weighted toward good. This episode to me highlights the saddest thing if you put together everything we have been told about Frank since Daredevil season 2. Rough outline is as follows: He was too tired to make love to Maria the night he came home. She woke him up the next morning, they had that conversation about "where's home, Frank?" and he realizes that she truly doesn't know how much he loves her. He decides (or maybe had already decided...but it seems more like he had been tossing the idea around since his convo with Billy after he fucked up Rawlins' eye...and decided in the moment that Maria started crying and confessed that she didn't know he thought of her as home) to tell her he's not going back. They make love (unless those dream sequences were just from another time...but they definitely weren't from the night before). They go to the park and the carousel...and his family gets killed. He's on life support in the hospital...they pull the plug...he dies for about ten seconds and then comes back to life...and immediately tells his nurse to take him home...just like when David is trying to get him to come back and we see him in the dark looking for Maria and then suddenly comes back and says "home". To me, that says that whenever he is hovering in that in-between place on the edge of death...he has that convo with Maria...and he always chooses to go back to life (and the darkness and brutality) only to immediately regret it and want to be back with Maria, his "home"

I have never seen this show before and I'm an old fighter so I have to watch it, but I'm so deaf That I can't hear past you. For some reason your voice is 30 times louder than the volume of the show. I do think this episode was one of the best as well though and I hope your Japan trip is going great. Please peeps don't squire me on reply's. THIS IS NOT A CONDEMNATION RANT just a suggestion for the hard of hearing. I love Alex and have been following him for years.

The interplay between Frank's thoughts as he was tortured and the torture itself is a scenario that just tears me apart. I am of the mindset that if Rawlins hadn't injected Frank with the adrenaline, He may well have chosen to die. To finally know the Peaceful embrace of death, but through being injected with the adrenaline, Rawlins robbed Frank of that one final chance to peacefully re-unite with his wife in death. Idk if im reading too much into that specific thought process or not, but I do genuinely believe Frank would have chosen to greet death had he not been injected with the adrenaline. Anyway, to answer the question of which season is "Better." Season 2 is my personal favorite of the two, however I do believe Season 1 is realistically the "Better" due to the damn near perfect execution of exposition it provides, while also maintaining enough action and intensity to keep it interesting.
