The Sixth Sense (FULL MOVIE REACTION)

Hey guys!

All I can say is WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

First of all, thank you for your patience! I LOVE Patreon, but sometimes the upload process sucks. This video was processing for 14 hours yesterday... Anyway, let's move on!

This was one of the best movies I've seen in my entire life! I loved it so much I made my mom watch it! Now, you will know why I'm scarred for life based on the story I tell at the beginning of the video!

Love you all so much! :)

Alex

The Sixth Sense (FULL MOVIE REACTION)

Comments

It is possible a successful child psycholagist would have a long waiting list and notes about his clients from gp referals/intake sessions in advance. Their sessions never actually take place in a doctor's office, but at moments when Cole is alone, such as in Cole's living room while his mum is cooking, at hospital and in the headmaster's office during detention. Places where it is possible his therapist could be called in but also where Cole would normally be found. Malcolm's wife kept all of his records because she was unable to let go, locking up his things in the basement. In the movie universe, ghosts can interact with their surroundings to an extent e.g. grandma moving the necklace. And all of these interactions are real life superstitions about what ghosts can do - move objects, play recordings, smash windows etc. The explanation that the ghosts see what they want to see explains why some ghosts have more interactions and others repeat their death. Malcom wanted to help Cole so he could see and do things relevant to that goal, whereas other ghosts just wanted help at the moment of their death.

Susan

Mesmer also sees dead people apparently

Justin Allbritton

I honestly think its possible that the mother has the gift too, but has sorta "grown up" too much already to realize it

Shoto IcyHot (Slussh)

It wasn't a year or over a year. If you look at the notes Bruce is reading in the beginning when he's sitting on the bench it says he was referred in jan. We know it was winter when Bruce was shot. Even the synopsis of the movie on google says he meets up with Haley months after being shot

Ryan Towell

The "freak" in the beginning that shoots Bruce is Donnie Wahlberg. Marks older brother who sings in the boy band New Kids on the Block. After seeing him in this, Band of Brothers and blue bloods, I think he just might be the better actor the two. As for Haley the kid was phenomenal. He does mainly small bits here and there for TV. He was nominated for an oscar for this role. He was also great in the film "Pay it Forward", which he was the main star of that film with a great supporting cast like: Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt, Jim Caviezel, Jay Mohr, Angie Dickinson.. I believe he was 11 when he filmed it.

Ryan Towell

Valid points. I just chalk it up to what Cole says that they only see what they want to see.

Tara

Haley Joel Osment also played little Forrest in Forrest Gump. He was such a great child actor. I don’t know why he didn’t do more. His sister is actress Emily Osment.

Tara

Seeing a reaction to The Village would be fun

Miss Molly

This movie makes no sense whatsoever even among Shamallaman movies. How could he have an appointment with the kid when he's been dead for a year? He's scheduling appointments that far out? The kids parents didn't hear that their sons doctor, revered hero psychologist, was shot dead in a murder suicide? Or ghosts can function to such a complex level that they can do research on humans, learnt heir names and keep appointment books - even though every other ghost in the history of cinema including in this movie has been shown to be stuck repeating the same shit on a loop since they died? The twist in every single one of his films is so stupid and so effortlessly destroyed by even a half second of critical thinking. I can't believe we ever fell for this. That said, good movie, sure, if you turn off your brain.

Ludus Aurea

I never thought of this, but yeah that makes sense. (pun)

Triforce of Shadows

My fav M. Night Shyamalan Movie! Thank you for the full versions! <3

Asheenah

Phenomenal reaction my friend! This movie literally drains you, emotionally and psychologically. Stay amazing brother, keep up the great work.

Sean77

I'm so glad you got to experience this movie!! 💯

Noah Etcheberry

Wonder how Alex would react to Old

MyRottenSold1er

I need you to watch The Prestige so badly!!! lol

Justin Edmisten

I started crying at the end of this movie wtf lol.

Andrew aquino

Great reaction, Alex! This is my favorite Shyamalan movie. He also did 'signs' another good one.

Chryss Guiler

Donnie was also in the TV series Blue Bloods.

Chryss Guiler

My husband came in the bedroom when I was watching this. He asked me what I was watching and I told him. He got a huge grin and said, "has the reveal happened yet?". He plopped down next to me and watched through to the end.😂

Kelly Moneymaker

Same.

Arki Kali

Exactly right. And yeah, she'd already started on the younger daughter. So I think the little girl didn't go to Cole so much for her own sake but for her sister's.

Arki Kali

The ending of this movie, starting from the scene with Cole and his mom in the car, always guts me.

Tara M. Wilcoxon

Fun fact. This movie was partly inspired by an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? An old Nickelodeon show. "The Tale of the Dream Girl" is the title of the episode.

Demon of Empire

Haley Joel Osmond plays Messmer in the boys. He was an amazing child actor, I'm not sure why he didn't continue to the extent he was as a child.

Michael Kochis

Munchausen by Proxy, for future reference. But yea you're 100% right that it's a real disorder and very fucked up.

Michael Kochis

Agreed. One of my favorites.

Laura Sanchez

The guy who played the kid in this also played Mesmer in the boys

Matthew

So, the mother who killed her kid... I believe the diagnosis would be Munchousers By Proxy. (Spelled wrong I'm sure.) Munchousers is when someone craves the attention of being injured or sick so much they actually harm themselves to get that attention. Munchousers by proxy is when they use someone else (usually a family member) to get the attention. It's an actual psychological condition. I only know of it due to the fact that I'm a true crime junkie.

Guin12

The actor who played Ben in the beginning who shot Bruce is actually mark walhberg old brother Donnie and singer of New kids on the Block

Jonathan centeno

My favorite reactions are the ones that make alex jump 😂

Annette Muina

I love that you have it playing while reacting to it

Nick Howser

I think that the kid told him to talk to his wife while she slept, because maybe the veil between the living and dead is a little thinner when you’re sleeping? That’s always been my theory!

Mercy

I think its crazy that the patient in the bathroom is Donny Wahlberg! He looks so different there! He did a great job. It also always cracks me up that Haley Joel Osment....who plays the little boy...also played Mesmer on the Boys! Lol. I've always loved this movie but the end is kinda ruined after the first watch. Great reaction Alex! Thanks!

Jessica Houser

I saw this movie in theaters because I'm a Bruce Willis fan. I went into it completely blind when it premiered. It is absolutely one of my favorites... though I cannot watch it often because reasons.

Veronica Lenée

Would like to throw the idea of watching Dredd in there. NOT Judge Dredd, for the love of god. But watch Dredd. It stars our own Billy the Butcher's mouth.

Mårten

This is a good movie

jennifer oxley

I can not WAIT to watch your reaction to this one! Have a fun Tuesday! 💐

Tara M. Wilcoxon

You should watch Signs next!! It’s alien related and directed by M. Night
