Using the Full Movie/TV Show - Copyright Claim Talk
Added 2024-06-18 01:40:51 +0000 UTCI have been going back and forth so much about this topic. Fair use. Not fair use. I found one of the ONLY court cases talking about this topic.
I wanted to make this video because there seems to be some serious confusion about what constitutes fair use and what doesn't.
I just didn't want you guys thinking I'm not respectful towards the copyright holders when making this type of content.
Please let me know down below what you think of this topic after watching the video! :)
Love you guys so much,
Alex

Bit late to the conversation but this topic is seriously interesting. Would love to see you dive into this deeper if you can find more cases. Personaly I like being able to watch the whole thing in the same screen because syncing up can be a pain sometimes, especially if I want to cast this to my tv.

Like as long as we dont have to watch the movie/show on a tiny-ass corner of the screen and the audio is well balanced I really appreciate not having to look up which country I'll have to VPN to watch the movie today. That being said those two factors are really important because if either your audio or the movie is way too loud it instantly becomes almost unwatchable as you cant understand anything.

2024-06-21 19:01:36 +0000 UTCThank you, Alex, for this bit of education. Frankly, I do like it when reaction content creators include the full show or movie and comment over it. Most of what I watch with reaction videos are films and shows I've seen at least twice if not dozens of times. I'm watching them to experience what I experience when I make my friends watch those. So, yeah, you are giving us a new experience with all of these. Also, sometimes, I'll watch a reaction of shows I haven't seen before, watch the first episode or the movie, then go to Amazon, Disney+, Netflix, etc., and watch it again, myself. So, really, it's like giving us the opportunity to watch something we like with someone we like, or introducing us to something we may enjoy later as well. It's so much fun watching you react to things...jump scares do the same thing to me as they do to you. Your fondness of Toothless made me so happy. It's like watching something with my snarky best friend. Keep it up, boyo!
