2024-02-17 05:13:20 +0000 UTCI’m a HUGE Marvel Comics/Movies fan so hopefully I can provide some help with the Secret Wars & Fox thing… Basically in March of 2019 Disney bought the Fox company as well as ALL of the IP Fox had owned or created (that’s why all of the Fox produced ‘X-men’ movies, as well as other Fox properties like The Simpsons, and NewGirl are able to stream on Disney+ & the Disney owned HULU). However, The LAST of the Fox produced ‘X-men’ movies (Dark Phoenix) was still set to release in July 2019, so Marvel waited to include any X-men characters or produce any NEW X-men movies for a few years because let’s be honest (Dark Phoenix was not the best movie😬) so Kevin Feige (Marvel Studios President) didn’t want the bad taste Dark Phoenix left to carry over to the Avengers led MCU he had been building since 2008. That’s why they put the Old Fox logo in the Void (which is where the fight scene between Logan and Poolboy takes place. And the ‘Secret Wars’ Comic to the right of Deadpool while Wolverine is BEATING THE SHIT out of him is from the 2015 Secret Wars comic run that the movie is set to be based off of. The specific book is #5 in the story. And essentially in that issue, Dr Doom steals a character named “Molecule Man’s” powers (Molecule Man can shape reality to his own will) Using those powers, Dr Doom creates a pocket reality called “BATTLEWORLD” with the broken fragments of every remaining remaining universe. “BATLLEWORLD” Is where Secret Wars takes place in the comics. The running theory among fans who have read that run of comics think that ‘The Void’ (where all things the TVA prunes goes to) is going to become BATTLEWORLD in the MCU. That’s why they place that comic in the scene specifically set in ‘The Void’

Also don't thing him calling Wolverine an ape fits. We know he had to tickle Wolverine down under to get his first movie. That wig is a thing of nightmare but that suit .... good Lord

Very curious to see how the storyline will play out and what characters will surprisingly show up as I think any character could legitimately be fair game. Idk this for sure, but it could also very well be setting up for Avengers: Secret Wars as hidden in the trailer was an Easter egg of the comic cover for Secret Wars!

Think about the conversations they had btwn each other in previous movies too. The first set of videos in the TVA on the monitors has mostly footages from Thor Ragnorak. Then the 3 clips showing Captain America are from Winter Soldier. Also in one of the bottom left smaller monitors you can see from when Deadpool accepted the Emmy for Ryan Reynolds winning for his series Welcome to Wrexham. Disney bought FOX, thats how we can have X-Men in Marvel movies now. Fox had previously owned the rights. "God I love this part!" That is Pyro, and is the same actor from X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand. That thing laying on the ground in the last shot is a bottle of the green soda drink from the 2008 Hulk movie (one Stan Lee drinks from his fridge), and a copy of a Marvel comic for Secret Wars. Nice catch on the comic. Most don't see it sitting over there. Maybe a recommendation for next time you do a trailer reaction is watch the whole thing through once so you don't mess with the flow, then go back and pause at the details.
