I FINALLY got to watch the Family Guy: Blue Harvest movie! I remember WAY back when this first came out and I was obsessed with Family Guy, I tried to watch it. I remember turning it off being like "fuck this" because I didn't understand any of the jokes because I didn't see the movies.
I watched this on YouTube. I rented it! I hope guys enjoy this reaction as much as I enjoyed filming it for you all!
My gosh, I was laughing so hard my stomach started to hurt! This was such a fun treat and a complete change of pace!

Also, I'm convinced that you lived in a bubble for 20 years. And only had a small handful of VHS tapes you cycled through on repeat. haha

Now I hate to be one of those people that feel the need to explain things but you seemed a bit confused with all the 'Red' references at the end & I'm way old so I can help you there. The submarine was in reference to the movie 'The Hunt For Red October' which was popular in the early 90's & starred Sean Connery, hence the Scottish accent. They also had singer Helen Reddy & the band Simply Red. Fun fact: they did get Helen & Mick Hucknall (the lead singer of Simply Red) in to do the voices. Not Sean, unfortunately.
