Sorry, i`m late to the game, but i just read your comment jamie, and have to say: do you really think The Last Jedi is better!?. The whole damn thing is flawed. Our heros are burning fuel running away from the ships of the First Order, and have to solve the problem of running out of fuel. Now, here`s the problem. Space is a vaccum, so when they reach top speed, they can turn of the engines and keep their speed, because there`s no air resistance in space. Therefore, the whole plot becomes flawed

Belated in response: you asked what "those ships" are called. In general: "star shuttles" or something like that. Like the millennium falcon, have light weapons and shields with hyperdrive capabilities. Specifically in scene: It's a Delta-class T-3c shuttle. What you might be thinking: Ever since the Lambda-class shuttle appeared in the original trilogy, many series in the Star Wars franchise have made duplicate designs of that same ship, either as a predecessor or a sequel to that iconic design of the 70's-80's.

The gentleman you kept calling Miguel Prado is actually Jimmy Smits he was on La law I believe. If you remember at the end of Revenge of the Sith Luke was taken by Obi-Wan to give to his family to raise and Leia was adopted by Senator Organa who is Jimmy Smits. I hope you watch Obi-Wan kenobi. It takes place about 10 years after revenge of the sith. Please please do Andor. Some of the same characters pop up. And I really hope you do seven eight and nine because I don't really want to have to wait months for your reaction to the movies. I like them. I love Rogue one. Rogue one and solo are both Star Wars stories and are not a part of the original nine movies.

RotS will always have a special place in my heart and will always be number one, but damn Rogue One is a very close contender. The cinematography in this movie was phenomenal and the promotional posters are awesome too. I personally don't like any of the newer Star Wars movies that Disney has released, but Rogue One was just something special that they fucking nailed. Seeing this in theaters was mind blowing, especially the Darth Vader hallway scene which was so cool on the big screen.

Honestly coming from a Star Wars obsessed fan, in my personal opinion I am not mad at the "Disney Star Wars" I adore Rouge one and I actually like the sequels! Enjoyed all 3 of them, do I think they are the best SW films? No. But I still enjoyed them and would say they are great movies. Also the SW live action TV shows are amazing! Especially Andor and Ashoka In my opinion. :)

Ummmm .... or, not. People try so hard to make it seem like the cartoon shows are somehow "essential viewing" in order to understand movies and shows. But its absolutely untrue. None of it is essential. The film-makers are quite capable of sprinkling in the necessary amount of backstory, lore etc.

It's a common misconception about Stormtrooper armour that it's useless when it's actually not. There are two reasons for it ''not doing anything'': 1. Main reason is that some of the blasters used by Rebels have specialized armour piercing capabilities, and those were banned by the empire which is the reason why you only really see them in the hands of rebels. 2. It actually works very well, it can stop low, medium and heavy blaster damage, with the exception being cannon blasters and higher, the armour is designed to disperse the impact of a blaster impact across the armour and so what happens to the Stormtroopers when they get shot is that they're actually knocked out due to the heavy shock from the impact, but survives and can be healed with advanced medical techniques.

I'm not going to sit here and argue with you about it but they definitely did in Ashoka. And that isn't me be hostile towards women that I think that. If they make a good story with a good female lead like rogue one. There's no problems but Ashoka was women power first and story came second which screwed the show. But I can name many movies with women leads that were amazing. Disney just needs to stop making things political and focus on the story. They did the same thing with Ray. They needed to push strong women power, but shouldve be been utterly cut down by Kylo, but they put their political views before the story. Alien was a fantastic movie, that's a women lead. And there's many more. That doesn't make me incel that I don't like when they push political crap in movies. My wife and both my daughters agree with the same thing that they pushed it. He was the cheekbone dude who took over the Death Star and basically booted Krennic out. He’s the one in episode 4 who orders the destruction of Alderaan in front of Leia. The original actor, Peter Cushing was obviously no longer around so they digitally recreated him with an actor who was able to replicate his voice! Really hope you get to Solo and the Sequel Trilogy soon! Can’t wait to see what you think 😊 peace and love 🙌

You'll have to be far more familiar with Star Wars than you currently are before you can understand why people hate the Disney movies. On a surface level they seem fine and some of the effects are cool, the cinematography is great, but the story and the dialogue is simply awful. We're talking 50 years of lore and Disney came in and was just like "Nope let's delete this and piss on that, that one looks cool, delte that one over there, mash those 5 together but rewrite it completely." The shows Disney has done are mostly good besides Mandalorian and Fett being mostly stupid, but the movies are simply terrible. That doesn't mean they're not watchable, but, if you know better, they are hard to watch.

Most episodes add things like context to the Anakin's fall; context to the Republic's fall; context to the Jedi's fall mainly through demonstrating their hypocrisy; showing the corruption of the republic; adding depth to the Clone Wars by showing the Separatists' side of things, demonstrating how the conflict is not so black and white; showing Palpatine's manipulations to gain more power; giving more characterization to our protagonists; fleshing out underdeveloped characters like Dooku and some of the Jedi council members (Ki-Adi-Mundi, Plo Koon); introducing new characters who add the the preexisting characters, story, and world; humanizing the clones by turning them into actual people and developing their relationship with the Jedi, which adds to the stakes of the conflict and makes us more invested in it, as well as making the fall of the Jedi more tragic; and expanding the prequel era and the Star Wars galaxy as a whole.

You could argue that the whole show is "unnecessary," but I'm assuming that by unnecessary you mean they don't add anything of meaning to the prequel era. Sure, there are some episodes like that. Most of them involve Jar Jar or the droids, though, who Alex likes, so he would probably end up greatly enjoying those episodes anyways. Those don't make a majority of show, though.

Sequels were better than the prequels. Prequels had the cringiest dialogue, and anakins fall was poorly executed. Back when prequels came out they were universally hated. Then when the sequels came out it was very mixed but less hated than the prequels when they first dropped. I think alot of people forget the original reception to the prequels. The only really bad sequel film was the third one.

I’m never sure what people mean when they say most of clone wars is “filler.” How exactly are you defining filler and what portion of the show is filler? Because it’s an episodic show it doesn’t have one continuous narrative arc but rather mostly disconnected arcs of a few episodes. Filler means any episodes that don’t contribute to the main narrative, and since the clone wars doesn’t have one, it can’t have filler, by default.
