I don't mind this kind of animation. But the clone wars animation is too cartoony for me. Ifreaking love star wars and have watched everything but I just can't do the clone wars, it's way too cartoony. I wish they did them like this

So since you put a foot into the game side of Star Wars, I can recommend the "Star Wars: Jedi" series Storys (as a cutscenes video) 😏​ and they are officially considered part of the story (plays between episode 3 and 4) 😅​

Because they were stories designed to show off a great deal of action in these trailers and subsequently sell an MMO. And the writers understood the assignment! They sold the MMO and it’s continuing to this day. But it was never about crafting deep stories. And I’m not sure I understand the question about fanfiction? Fanfiction is fun, especially for the person writing it. But let’s not pretend fanfiction is any good. If the writer was good, they wouldn’t be writing fanfiction, they’d be a professional doing their own original work or officially licenced stuff. So when I say something like this is ‘fanfiction’ I’m comparing it to that because the story isn’t terribly well crafted and basically breaks the universe itself set in. But it was never meant to be a good story, it just had to show off cool stuff to sell the game. And I still enjoy it, I love it actually, I’m just realistic about it.

I respect anyone who dislikes the sequels for a legitimate reason. I have legitimate issues with Bad Batch and Mandalorian but still don’t begrudge people enjoying them. I also don’t just hurl meaningless complaints at them like “woke agenda” or “Mary-Sue”, I actually have real, thought through criticisms. Most of the criticisms I hear about the sequels are either through wilful ignorance (ignoring certain details to fit their own argument) or a total lack of understanding of for a certain aspect of the story or universe. I also don’t begrudge people who don’t enjoy the sequels but also allow others to enjoy them and who don’t pollute the perspective of someone who hasn’t seen it before. Like I’m not going to start trying to tell Alex all the things wrong with the Bad Batch before he’s watched it, if he enjoys it then I want to let him! That’s how it should be.

Through the first 6 movies the Sith had the rule of 2 so they could hide and work in the shadows a Master and an Apprentice no more no less. These game trailers pre date that rule made by Darth Bane because the Sith started to go extinct and would fight amongst themselves for power. This is also why people want to see Old Republic movies and shows so we can see more of this. Just a different time period in Star Wars outside of the Skywalker saga.

I respect your thoughts on the sequels but why put people down because they didn't like them? its super hypocritical and pretty counterproductive to the point you're trying to make. Also, fan fiction is pretty disingenuous considering these were officially licensed stories.

That last trailer is the very best of Star Wars distilled down to 7 minutes. The thrilling action, the clash of good and evil, and the deeper complexities of the different dogmas of the Jedi and Sith.

The sequels were more focused on more important things than just badassery. In my opinion, on of the characters does an insanely badass thing in the sequels and it has nothing to do with an action sequence or some sick gymnastics 😂 it has way more to do with character and story. I love these trailers, I think they’re so sick but at the end of the day, they’re just fanfiction with some good choreography, the story is about an inch deep 😂 I’m saying this as someone who loves these trailers and also loves the sequels 🤷‍♂️ Also these trailers don’t work in the film universe because everyone is way too OP. And not even that is consistent because you have ridiculous moments like a trooper being about to bat aside Sith warriors 😂 it’s cool but not great writing and doesn’t hold up in the universe

Emperor Vitiate was easily worse than Palpatine imo and far stronger he literally absored the life force of thousands of sith making him immortal and he was so strong he mind dominated the one person who coulda been seen as the chosen one before anakin and made him his slave.
