2025-09-01 20:47:19 +0000 UTCI am sure, you will read this a few times the next days... BUT. Leo really hurt his hand in his raging scene and, like a god actor that he is, he continued acting with his bleeding hand perfectly matching the scene going on. Masterpiece Movie! Thank you for your reaction, Alex!! That reaction was phenomenal!

2024-01-23 06:37:27 +0000 UTCThe next Tarantino movie should be Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 or Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, 2006. If you've seen that one then Pulp Fiction, 1994. If you've seen that on as well, then Reservoir Dogs, 1992, and if you have seen all those, then The Hateful Eight, 2015. Quentin Tarantino did say recently that he's gonna retire, sadly!

2024-01-23 00:45:51 +0000 UTCDunno if someone already mentioned this, but Leo actually hurt his hand when slamming it on the table but he kept the scene going.

2024-01-22 23:50:51 +0000 UTCBig yup on this. As a teen, my research paper Sophomore year was on the Tate Massacre and Charles Manson. Very dark but certainly a memorable time for America.

2024-01-22 22:28:58 +0000 UTCAlex - if you do Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (which I also recommend) you should get familiar with the story of Sharon Tate first.

2024-01-22 20:43:01 +0000 UTCbtw alex, people like sam jacksons character, the head house slaves, they get into those positions by ingratiating themselves with slave owners as much as possible. Eventually, they get enough privilege that they get to live a comfortable life, and they come to see themselves as above other slaves, because the other slaves resent their privilege, so people like sam jackson's character grow to hate them back. That's why django said the only thing lower than a head house slave is a black slaver, "and that's pretty damn low"

2024-01-22 06:50:26 +0000 UTCthey only say the n word 110 times in this movie so don't worry. editor can take a coffee break early lololol]

2024-01-22 04:28:57 +0000 UTCGlad you agree that this is probably Tarantino's best movie. I really love everything you said at the end and agree wholeheartedly. I think the next Tarantino movie you should watch is The Hateful Eight. It's another western and is pretty great too. Not as good as Django imo but still a fantastic movie.

2024-01-21 20:46:27 +0000 UTCYou can do this or position them both on the same screen together, playing in separate smaller windows.

2024-01-21 14:42:53 +0000 UTCAmazing reaction!! Whoa - yeah. I started watching this around 3am and I just powered on through. I'd already seen this movie a number of times but I knew your reaction was going to be great. :) Good number of laughs/chuckles with ya. Here's to the next one! My recommendation would have to either be Jackie Brown or Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Jackie Brown's a good bit older and may not vibe with everyone on YouTube but Once Upon A Time In Hollywood would likely mesh well with the people on YouTube. Both are quality watches and those are what I'd suggest as options.

2024-01-21 14:39:41 +0000 UTCWell for me it was once upon a time in hollywood 3 times try to wach it never get to a finish for me was too slow pace

2024-01-21 13:55:12 +0000 UTCAbsolutely the first few times you hear the "N Word" is shocking and uncomfortable but then once you settle in and remember that you are watching a movie about a time when that word was used as commonly as many "normal" words we hear every day today and don't bat an eye. Besides, making ourselves uncomfortable from time to time can remind us how incredibly ignorant and evil we are all capable of being so hopefully we might learn from our past mistakes :)

2024-01-21 13:38:55 +0000 UTCI didn't like Hateful Eight. Can't remember exactly why but I remember being very disappointed. Basically I think it comes down to Quentin Tarantino movies and either loving or hating them. Loved Pulp Fiction, Dusk Til Dawn and Django, did not like Inglorious Bastards or Reservior Dogs at all. *Shrugs* lol.

2024-01-21 13:17:53 +0000 UTCYeah it's to prevent copyrighting infringement. You need to watch the actual movie alongside the reaction. I have dual monitors so I keep the movie front and center with Alex on the other monitor.

2024-01-21 09:42:46 +0000 UTCI just subbed to the patreon but whenever I want to watch the full length reaction, there's no sound and there's a giant timestamp over the screen of the movie that you're watching. is that happening to anyone else?

2024-01-21 01:34:19 +0000 UTCthe german legend he talked about is about the ring der nibelingen, its a real german legend

2024-01-21 01:19:46 +0000 UTCYou should watch "Valerian and the city of a thousand planets". Net time yyou ask for suggestions, will ask for this one

2024-01-20 18:22:53 +0000 UTCYou have to watch Hateful 8!! It is a lot of the same cast and it is a very dialogue driven story. I prefer it over Django even though I named my German Shepherd after the badass that is Django Freeman

2024-01-20 17:44:18 +0000 UTCTrue story. And to add onto that, Leo’s take was so good that the whole film crew stood up and applauded. They couldn’t believe the improvised genius that they had just witnessed from Leo. Legendary.

2024-01-20 12:29:54 +0000 UTCCan you react to "The Book of Eli"?? Love your reactions!

2024-01-20 03:22:06 +0000 UTCthe part where Leo cut his hand at the dinner table, that was real, He cut it on accident, finished the scene and went on and got stitches.. Then they came back and finished shooting it with fake blood which he wiped all over Kery Washingtons face.. Basically they wrote it into the script after he cut it.

2024-01-20 01:02:15 +0000 UTCThe guy who says he knows that the d is silent is the original django actor

2024-01-20 00:20:56 +0000 UTCWait what you haven't yet seen the Mission Impossible movies? Dude.. Each one gets better, rarely does a series get better with each sequel. Highly recommend you go down that rabbit hole soon. Django is good, but Once upon a time in Hollywood is still my favorite Taratino film.. And yes.. The Weinstein Company is Harvey...

2024-01-19 22:49:32 +0000 UTCYou should watch the Irishmen if you haven’t yet.
