The male version is indestructible and has a little energy absorption while the female version can use the energy in a number of ways and is just as durable but it has a limit were the male has no limit. Hopefully that makes a little sense.

I love this shit. I think the Boys and Gen V are crazy, twisted and maybe even deranged but AMAZING! It feels weird that I enjoy it so much but I have always been a little off so it tracks! Love these reactions!

You're right. I watched The Boys many months ago so i don't remember exactly. What i'm saying is that i fell in love with most of the main characters of The Boys from the start. I don't hate the characters of Gen V. I just don't give a fuck about most of them.

I'm watching this along with you. My first impressions of the show from the first episode are that the plot isn't nearly as good as in The Boys. It's really showing that they had to throw so much gore and explicit content because the plot is not great in comparison to The Boys. Some characters are cool [ like Marie or Emma ] but they don't stand out as much as the characters from The Boys. After the first episode of The Boys i immediately fell in love with characters like Hughie or Starlight. After the first episode of Gen V i don't even feel any connection to the characters. They are not vibrant. But i'm gonna watch until the end and see if it gets better. Hopefully it does. Btw. Great reaction as always Alex <3

This show is fantastic. I think the story here is way more interesting than The Boys. And it only gets wilder! As Mikael said, Jordan's power set changes with their gender. They're always stronger and more durable than normal humans. But..as a male Jordan is damn near invulnerable and when female they can discharge extremely powerful energy blasts. Both of these are shown when Jordan and Luke are fighting.
