2024-01-13 18:26:13 +0000 UTCThere are 8 episodes of Gen V to watch before season 4. Maeve wasn’t about to let Soldier Boy kill the team. So she took him out the window. I’m not sure what Ryan was thinking at the end of the fight. Lots of possibilities. He wanted to save everyone there so got Homelander to take him and leave. He thought the team might be able to kill Homelander and got him to leave. Ryan was simply scared of the fighting and wanted to leave.

And now she's got no eye and no powers. Based maeve

2024-01-13 07:50:51 +0000 UTCinteresing, I always saw it as Ryan realising he is the only one capable of keeping homelander in check and thats why he asked to leave, cause he didn't want homelander to hurt butcher, not because he sided with homelander. hopefully he figures out that butcher was trying to keep him safe by pushing him away, as fucked up as butcher was/is, same as knocking out hughie so he didn't take V again

2024-01-13 00:56:39 +0000 UTCwhich is why it sucks. though they could always do a recap prior to anything important from the spinoff show that might carry off into the main show. pulling the same dumb crap disney+ did in having important stuff happen in a spin off show. not that gen V was bad but i just felt like it was more of the same honestly kinda exhausted at the attempts to always 1up themselves on the shock factor.

The character of Robert Singer who is running for president is a nod to Supernatural which is Eric Kripke(The Boys show creator)'s other hit tv series where Bobby Singer is a mainstay on the show for a decent majority of its run. They even use the same actor to portray him on The Boys. He's not the same character, but just the same in name and physical likeness. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this show along with you and like other people are saying, you probably should watch Gen V before the next season of The Boys. Till the next great reaction!! Peace!
