2023-12-12 01:17:52 +0000 UTCyeah, star wars had a few moments where Alex was like "wait, did we know that?" when it already got explained, there were even moments were it got mentioned moments before and he didn't listen because he was talking. I mean I get it, reactors have to react and there has to be more than "oh" "ah" "oh shit" "god damn", but yeah this is typcial Alex going on "long" dialogues. I guess most of us here are used to it. And ultimately it's up to alex if he wants to do it like that or not. But I guess everyone here that says that Alex maybe should maybe consider going a step back from that only means it in good faith and not as attack against alex.

But especially the double takes (for presumably the cut version later), are not only slightly offputting but also double or triple the time you take for a comment and make you miss a lot of stuff. I got used to it and since I mostly know the movies being reacted to here I dont miss much but it hurts to see so much info being missed. It leads to movies being less appreciated for what they have to offer.
