It's time (FINALLY) for the MOST HATED Pirates of the Caribbean movie out there... according to ratings.
I actually didn't mind this one at all! Dare I say I enjoyed it... I understand this was the first movie that didn't have the original cast, so I understand the frustration, but I really did like it!

2023-10-23 12:17:27 +0000 UTCThis is usually considered a standalone film. It has a different director, Rob Marshall, so that's probably a part of the reason it feels so different from the first 3. That, and of course the absense of Will and Elizabeth. But I never get tired of Captain Jack Sparrow. I personally enjoy it for what it is. I wasn't a huge fan of the villain but I liked Jack and Angelica's chemistry. My favourite though is Philip and Syrena's story. I was OBSESSED with them and this is also where my crush on Sam Claflin began. He's in The Hunger Games btw (not the first one though). Penélope Cruz was pregnant during filming, with her husband's Javier Bardem's chil ( who is actually in the next film). She did all of her close-up action shots while her sister Mónica did all of the long-distance shots. Fun facts: Ian McShane (Blackbeard) was considered to play Davy Jones in Dead Man's Chest and Johnny Depp is the one who suggested turning Philip into a missionary and having a Spanish contingent following them. Heartwarming fact: While filming in London, Johnny Depp reiceived a letter from a 9 year old girl, telling him her classmates needed help to "mutiny" against her teachers. He showed up with almost no warning at the school in full Captain Jack Sparrow outfit, but advised against mutiny. Also, Johnny bought new water proof jackets for the 50 crew members on the set to protect them from the cold weather. He spent a total of 64.200 from his own pockets.

The cutdown version on YT is not in violation of that, because if you want to watch the full movie you still have to buy/stream it yourself. Hopefully this explanation helps! And enjoy watching :-)

2023-10-15 20:09:50 +0000 UTCThe first one was so good it took two more to tell the next part of the story. There’s no topping them. Given that, this one was very enjoyable to me. But Florida legends always have a special place in my heart.

So if you just keep watching it's already off, but even if you start at the exact moment where he starts it from after the cut, it's still off. Took me awhile until it got it synced up again, based on his reaction and what he said.

And the Cleric/Philip, didn't die the first time because they didn't tried to kill him. They just slit his chest and put a tranquilizer dart in him to knock him out. So that he would comeback to save her, to give a tear of joy. It was the plan from Angelica. And btw, the King where you said that he looked like the Vernon from Harry Potter, that's because it's the same Actor.

And sure it's not as Top Tier as the Trilogy, but the Trilogy is just sooo good it's hard to beat... but it's still a very good Movie in my opinion. I always have a good time Watching it. So I can't wait to watch the Reaction. Which is why I and many others said that you should watch all the Movies, even though some say that you only should watch the first 3. Because by now I know that Alex is not as critical about certain things as others. Alex often can enjoy a Movie for what it is, unlike many other people that don't like something if it's not what they want it to be.
