When you see Logan die, remember that one lady's words from The Wolverine. "I see you on your back. Holding your heart in your hand." Now look how Logan dies. Also this is (I believe) the first R rated movie with Wolverine in it. He was finally able to blatantly use his claws!

Was implying that he loved her and she him, a pure true love (not sexual at all but unconditional love, or another theroy is it is not love but death that he is talking about. That he finally knows what it felt like to die. I LOVED watching this for probably the 5th time as you watched it for the first time! Was a great reaction! Thank you for being you Alex!

But he's saying it with a smile. In my mind he's thinking back to that moment at the house with professor X saying "take a second to feel this moment. This is what life feels like" In that moment, Logan allowed himself to feel love for someone and be vulnerable, so his literal last thoughts were "this is what life and family feels like" Also when she said daddy that stabbed me in the heart

Laura's codename is X-23, that's how we all new Laura. She's always been X-23. X-24 was the younger Logan and we did not see that coming. This was such an experience to see in the cinema, the end of the original X-Men that we had for 18 years. Incase you didn't catch it, Charles accidentally killed the X-Men with one of his seizures, you hear it on the radio as they left Oklahoma. That's why Charles says he remembers what happened in Westchester, and the he doesn't deserve a happy life.

You’re holding your own heart in your hand. It’s not beating.” In Logan, he dies on his back, with blood everywhere, holding Laura's hand.

2023-09-13 00:40:01 +0000 UTCMy older son was just leaving, and he asked me if I wanted him to leave the show on he had started and my reply was ‘Nope, I am going to watch Logan with Alex tonight’ And he turned and looked at me like I was crazy. His name in the family is Alex (same name as his dad, so Alex eliminated my confusion), and he knew HE wasn’t sticking around to watch a two hour plus movie. I had to explain that I have been doing watch alongs with you the last few weeks. This is one of my top 3 superhero movies, and in top 5 of all time movies for me. I even had my dad watch it because it reminded me SO much of the old westerns he would put in Saturdays when I was little, and he hasn’t seen any other XMen movies but he liked it a lot.
