James Norrington is such an underrated character. He was actually a good man and he genuinely loved Elizabeth. Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones plays Jack's father. He was Johnny Depp's main inspiration for the Captain Jack Sparrow character. Also, please watch 4 and 5 and find out for yourself if you like them or not. I personally enjoyed both but especially 5 because one of the main characters is Will and Elizabeth's son!

I get why people say this is the best and it doesn't get better, I can actually agree. BUT! These next 2 movies are still incredible! It's like saying you ate kobe beef and moved on to an aged ribeye. It might not be as good, but it's still amazing!

He could check out https://onepace.net, One Piece anime condensed down to follow the pacing of the manga. The entire anime condensed down into, probably, 400 episodes, once its done. I couldn't figure out how to get it to work, but he probably could.

Yeah it followed him through the first three movies. The sword was originally James Norrington's (made by Will) in the first movie. This movie Becket gives Norrington back the sword and James Norrington is also killed with it. I'm pretty sure that Will uses it now that he is captain of the Flying Dutchman.

I would rather want him to Watch the Anime first, at least he East Blue saga, before watching the Live Action adaptation. Because I think Alex said that he wants to watch Anime at some point. So it would make more sense to do it in that order than watching the Live Action adaptation first.

Why is NOBODY pointing out that's Keith Richards from the Rolling stones as Jacks dad. He was also Depp's main inspiration for the character of Jack Sparrow.

I love this movie just for the character/story arcs that are fulfilled. Jack does something selfless at the end, like Elizabeth challenged him to do in the second one, by having Will stab the heart instead of himself. Will fulfills his promise to his father after their initially strained relationship and the absence of his father throughout his childhood was a constant storyline. Elizabeth becomes a pirate and marries Will (two things it seemed she was destined for since the first 10 minutes of the first film). Davy Jones is finally bested and Will is able to take his place, fulfilling the duty of taking care of the dead after Jones had neglected his duty for so long. And finally the threat of the East India Trading Company is finally defeated, as that was the common enemy to the pirates throughout the trilogy.

I don't think that the last 2 Movies are bad, I personally enjoy them quite a bit. They are just not as good as 1-3. But 1-3 is just Top Tier and work really well as Trilogy., while 4 and 5 are more standalone-ish. So yeah, I am pretty sure you would still enjoy 4 and 5. But yeah about At World's End, it's just such a good movie. The CGI got even better than Dead Man's Chest, the set pieces are amazing, like for example the beginning with the Ice area or when they were at the part where they fall down the waterfall and it looks like they sail through space, or the final with the Maelstrom, the music is amazing aswell and a again it's just a super funny movie with many good moments and als good action. And especially the end scene where the Endeavour gets destroyed, such a good scene. I really feel like that there aren't many movies that are as good as this nowadays. So many movies just feel samey and/or boring. This is just so unique and good and pretty much has it all.

I mean, just because nothing happens to them, doesn't mean that it's legal or right. It might happen that at some point they will get in trouble because of it.

I wouldn't say the last two are BAD. I think it's just more that the casting in the fourth and fifth movies lacks the chemistry that Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightley had on the screen, and that's what kind of brings them down. But they're interesting movies and I don't think you'll regret watching them or anything, even with them not being the high points of the series, if that makes sense.

So yea becket wants to remove the seas from the pirates as beckett is lead of the East Indian Company, and they do alot of trading from the sea, and pirates are an issue
