Finally uploading the next X-Men reaction! I know that this movie got a ton of hate from people, but I don't really see why...
I had one major issue with this film that I stated towards the end of the video. What do you guys think about this film? Do you agree that is should get that much hate?

I am not of a fan of the basic bitch ass Patreon vid player, and I can't add them to my regular weekly YT playlist to watch. I wish he would do what Nat Gold does at least, post the full reaction here on Patreon if he thinks that's important, AND post the YT version via link included in the description of the Patreon post, best of both worlds.

2023-09-07 02:19:07 +0000 UTCIf you like Peter (quicksilver) you should watch The Flash the DC TV show... NOT THE MOVIE, it's shit. Grant Gustin as the flash is amazing. Like season 1 and 2 are great (after that, it gets really cheesy, but I love the first 2 seasons)

He just has difficulty with humanity because of the traumatic events with his Mother, wife and daughter. He's suffered his whole life from the actions of humans. He simply believes humans cannot be trusted to allow mutants to exit in peace. That is completely understandable considering his track record. It's extremely difficult to trust in something that has repeatedly shown it can't be trusted. I feel bad for him, kind of like Professor X does, I can empathize.

Taking the structures almost certainly got millions around the world killed, everything from airplanes to ships were affected. Humans are afraid because their entire fucking planet can be erased by that maniac at will. No one should have that power. These dudes are trying their hardest to show Magneto as an anti-hero when he's a straight up villain. You CAN NOT FREAK OUT AND KILL EVERYONE when something bad happens to you. The lack of intent does not negate the consequences of his actions. "With great power comes great responsibility", as they say.

2023-09-06 15:55:12 +0000 UTCIf you're under the impression that everyone in Egypt was murdered, that's not what happened. They took the structure of the buildings and ground around them to build the pyramid and the metropolis Apocalypse was creating. People certainly died as a result, but most of that was Apocalypse's doing. Given that he took Magneto under him immediately after his loss, it's understandable the anger and rage that would have allowed Magneto to just say "Fuck it" and go against the world. Apocalypse amped that anger up and put him on that path yet again, after he attempted to live his own life and put everything from DC and prior behind him. Still being plagued by humans that were after him and killed his only family he had left, yeah, it's completely understandable how vulnerable his mind and morals would have been for someone as convincing as Apocalypse to abuse.

This movie betrayed so many things that are true in the comics/rest of film series as well. I remember enjoying this as a movie but only that (when this was in theaters) - if you take Marvel and all of X-Men history out of it, this is an alright movie. With it though, it's garbo. That's my take on it. I'm looking forward to watching Logan with you. As you can see, I've got a special thing with the character. xD

This ranking ignores Logan and the Deadpool movies, though. Deadpool lives outside of rankings and Logan is in a class all its own.
