What's up with Tlaero?

Hey everyone, Tlaero here.

In the states we have these big box home improvement stores where they sell everything from lumber to tools to light fixtures.  And, if you look around at the store employees, you'll realize that a large number of them are people who retired from their day jobs, got bored, and took a part time job to pass the time.

I can relate.

I still have a day job, one that's quite consuming, but I did retire from my secondary job of writing erotic games.  And I've just about finished a month of vacation from my day job.  Spending time with my loved ones was wonderful, but it didn't exactly fill the days.  While I won't say that I got bored, I did need something to help pass the time.

So I've been writing.

I wrote the scripts for the remaining chapters of Elsa's Nightmares (there will be six in total), but that didn't take too long.  They're short stories after all.  What I really did was get serious about "Life Changes for Keeley."

If you remember the very end of "Coming to Grips with Christine," Keeley goes home early to surprise her husband and gets surprised herself.  That was supposed to be the setup for another game.  Then the whole "retirement" thing got in the way.  And, though I haven't really resolved my issues with writing erotic games in secret, I feel that, at least for now, I've got enough balance to write this game.

That last sentence isn't exactly accurate.  "To write this game" implies that I might write it in the future.  The truth is that I worked on it a ton over the last month, and, today, I finished the script.

I'm here to announce that, when Mortze finishes his (awesome) SW game, he and I are officially going to work on "Life Changes for Keeley."  It's a long game, and generating all of the images for it will take a considerable amount of time.  I have no idea when the release date will be.  But it's going to happen.

LCfK will be in Renpy format and will allow you to play as two different characters.  One is James, Keeley's husband who cheated on her.  The other is Claryce, the woman in the bookstore in "Coming to Grips with Christine."

So, am I still retired?  I don't know.  I'm very fond of the script I wrote for LCfK.  Maybe it will be my swan song.  I currently have no other games in mind.  Or, maybe, when we're done with it, I'll decide to write something new.  I guess we'll see.
