Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (FULL MOVIE REACTION)

Hey guys,

Whew!!! This week was nuts. We uploaded the Goblet of Fire reaction and it got 175,000 views in 3 days. Then Warner Bros blocked it worldwide. I tried to fight it and even talked to the head of the licensing department. They turned me down, even after offering that they could keep all the money from the video so long as all of the fans could watch it!

However, with a little clever editing, we got it back up, AND IT'S MONETIZED lol. Sticking it to the man!

Anyway, here is the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever reaction! Thank you all for the constant love and support you show me over here on Patreon!

If there is ANY way I can make this experience over on Patreon better for you guys, please let me know!

I hope you all have a kickass rest of your day! :)

Love,

Alex

They should never have killed off his character in the movie just because boseman died yes i get wanting respect for the man who brought life to the character but for future movies and possible reasting jumped the gunand ki.led him off screen should never have happend

Just the distribution rights to makinb any movie on hulk and namor but those rights may have since come back too marvel

Unfortunately Chadwick passed before they started filming. They had to rewrite the whole movie. It was originally going to be a story about him and his son after the blip. When watching this in the theater, not one person made a sound for the first 6:30 of the movie. I really like how they never said how T'Challa dies. Just like in real life, almost nobody knew Chadwick was even sick. As if both situations were a mystery. Like the how he passed, didn't matter as much as the fact he did. The soldiers walked off the ship because Namor's people acted like sirens. Basically hypnotizing them and luring them in to their death. "What did that say about Scott Lang?" See thats why you need to watch the New Rockstars detail breakdowns of the MCU movies ;). They find all those little details and explain how it relates to what is going on in the movie/MCU. "My dude's snackin on a meat stick" nope, remember they said they are vegetarians in the first movie. ;) Yes that is Haiti. It said so underneath Cape Haitian. The people of Talokan aren't actually blue. When Shuri goes to visit their land, they are normal skin toned. They only change to blue when out of the ocean for a period of time. Riri is also the Marvel character Iron Heart. Notice she hammered out a shape of a heart from that metal (iron) sheet? There will be more from her later on. The theory on why Shuri sees Kilmonger vs her mother is because they were both angry at the world and wanted to burn it all down. Her mother and brother were more cool and calculated vs straight rage. Don't know if you noticed that the subtitles changed color depending on the language being spoken. Talokan was blue, Wakandan was yellow, and Spanish was white. I love how they were able to ind a balance in both continuing the story, and honoring Chadwick. They found a way to continue his bloodline as well. The ending of the movie with the unused footage of Chadwick still gets to me. No idea how they got a kit who smiled like Chadwick to play his kid at the end, but man really good find.

The character of Namor, he is a really older character from the comics. He's been in a WWII series called The Invaders where he was on a team with Captain America and Bucky. He's been part of the Illuminati and the antithesis of it, The Cabal. He's also been revealed in the comics as the world's first mutant making "his people" not only the blue skinned people but also the mutants, like the X-Men. He was also on a Defenders team with Dr. Strange, The Hulk, and Silver Surfer. Namor has been described as needing to spend equal amounts of time above and below the water or he'll go mad with rage. In the comics he is part of the Atlantean race but given that DC beat Marvel to the punch in releasing their own version of the Atlanteans and their new found king, Aquaman; Marvel decided to change it up and make their civilization based more on Mayans/Aztecs than Atlanteans. i think it worked well. I think also there was some dispute on the rights of the character. For a long time Namor's character rights were owned or partly owned by Universal who also owned the rights to The Hulk. I think Marvel had to divert from the use of Atlantis/Atlanteans to be able to use the character in a film based on the current rights disputes. You asked about it following the comics, in the comics they did make Shuri Black Panther for a spell while I think T'Challa's actions as Black Panther or King were being disputed amongst the Elders.. so he stepped down as Protector to deal with politics. Also in the comics he had just married the X-Men Storm.
