I really loved the after-movie summary and your thoughts about the movie. You asked about why the badass chick was trying to kill John Wick: there was a scene in the tunnels (in Rome) where they saw each other and they talked in sign language about tying up loose ends (the loose end being John Wick). I assume that the dude who wanted to kill his sister didn't want anyone to know about it, so they tried to kill John as well.
