2022-06-25 05:56:30 +0000 UTCWow its crazy we're the same age I turn 28 in November and it was my first time watching it too I watched the whole thing with you I had the movie playing on plex a streaming service here in Australia and this return video on my phone we went though the whole experience together for the first time 🥰🥰🥰 I've known people who had family and friends who fought in the armed forces and I volunteered at a nursing home for a few months back in late 2013 early 2014 there was a Resident in the dementia ward she was 104 she could remember bits of her past from both wars she was a nurse in both but she couldn't remember what she just ate for lunch or what she just did as an activity I don't know if she's still alive today but seeing how the war affected her then seeing this movie it makes sense to me i can't imagine seeing all those people coming in with thier injuries and trying to help them while in the cover of the medic tent 🥺🥺 sorry for going into detail on that memory but it was related to the movie and I thought I'd share it 🥰🥰
