This is the pie menu where Sims can now Confess to a Rumor, Dispel a Rumor and there are other interactions included in the pie menu. See the interactions below:

Publicly Disgraced

Sims may be publicly disgraced by performing actions around town that put them in a bad limelight with the public. It can cost them a negative reputation.

Publicly Respected

Sims may receive public respect when the public sides with them with events going on in their lives.

Public Spotlight

Sims in the spotlight are usually in the "news" for something that is  occurring in their lives. They will often gain fame when in the Public  Spotlight.

Sue For Slander - Sims can sue for slander anytime they feel like the Paparazzi has crossed a line. Three possible scenarios - Win the case, Lose the Case or the Case is thrown out. The cost to Sue For Slander is 2500 Simoleons.

Found under the travel menu when Sims have a celebrity rumor buff only and Sims will stay gone from 2 - 4 hours.

If a Slander case is won Sims will gain in  reputation and a new interaction will appear "Brag about Winning Slander  Case". Sims will get a money amount of 7000 - 10000 Simoleons. Sims  will also have any buff removed after winning the case.

If a Slander case is lost Sims will lose in reputation and two new interactions can appear "Bash the Judge" and "Complain about Losing Slander Case". Sims will have to pay 2500 - 5000 Simoleons.

If a Slander case is thrown out nothing happens to the Sim's reputation and a new interaction will appear to "Complain about Slander Case". Sims are forced to pay the court 500 Simoleons in legal fees.

Pay off Paparazzi

Sims can now Pay off the Paparazzi by using their phone, see the screenshot right above. There are two scenarios that can happen when you attempt to pay off the paparazzi:

The first scenario is the Paparazzi accepts  your deal. This means you must pay 2500 - 5000 Simoleons to clear your  name and the buff will be removed if you are victorious. You will gain a  24 hour buff about that will make you confident.

The second scenario is the Paparazzi  rejects your deal. This means your Sim keeps the buff and will gain a  new one about being angry at the paparazzi.

How it works

You will not get Disgraced, Respected or be in the Public Spotlight every time the actions below are performed. Each buff has a 50/50 chance of happening and you can only be in the spotlight, respected or disgraced with one buff at one time. Each time you are in the spotlight, disgraced or respected it will last 2 days in real Sim time.

When Sims are publicly disgraced you will get this invite from your family members to support your morally.

You will have a choice to accept or deny the situation.

Text Messages

Sims will get a text when they have a buff that is disgraced, respected or in the spotlight from friends, family members and even the paparazzi sometimes.

Here is a an example text message from a Paparazzi member.

There is now also a text message when Sims win, lose their slander lawsuits or even if the case is completely thrown out. (I'll try to get a screenshot)

In-text notifications

They will appear each time the Sim is in the Public Spotlight, Publicly Disgraced or Publicly Respected. See the example below of a Sim Publicly Disgraced.

New Computer Interaction

Read Starlight Sims Weekly

This is a new computer interaction where Sims can read Celebrity Gossip  and Rumors. It is found using any computer and under the web pie menu  category.

This interaction is under the computer web menu. It will last 15-30 minutes and Sims will get a buff along with an in-text notification. I will be adding a lot more of these in the future.

Sims will get a buff and a random in-text notification about the rumor mill.
