It’s actually prepared watercolor paper that I had professionally glued to a wood panel. I don’t employ this technique anymore. Now I just paint oil on wood but for a while there I was doing drawing studies that I would paint on, and I wanted them to be mounted so that they could hang on the wall without a frame.
