February's Artist Appreciation

Hello everyone! It is Artist Appreciation time again!

We wanted to start with Kiri CrookedWings. Kiri recently returned as an artist and she has been working non stop with her moes, she has a style that feels really soulful as her sprites like Mew and Tropius have poses that show the playful nature of the mons. And like water Kiri is able to show power and sophistication in her Tentacruel, giving so many moes a very distinct personality in both body language and expression.

Next is LeBin Pasta, a new artist who has been working hard and advancing fast with the style. He has made the most cheerful Lotad ever with a very impressive leaf that has a very realistic water droplet. In addition to an ambitious forward facing pose which isnt often easy to do in pixel art. 

We wanted to also welcome back McMagister!! So many of you may know him as one of the Moemon veterans, he has recently returned and found his passion with the project. He has given us girls with guns too! The dynamic poses of the Octillery line and the new Mega Blastoise are stunning. The Mega Blastoise and Remoraid have such great geometrical angles in their poses to really show his knowledge about anatomy angles and how the body works when holding heavy machinery, like M Blastoise holding the heavy cannons.

We wanted to showcase Dictionary's/Arez Vii's Swablu and Grotle! The way Dictionary is able to balance simplicity and high detail in their designs is inspiring to say the least. Swablu is able to show such a beautifully fluffy detailed dress with laces and have such a simple yet unique hairdo at the same time. The complexity with Grotle is also shown, with the way the leaves and pose are shown, such a cute and unique concept to have the flowerpots spilling dirt.

Orange has been working so hard this month with providing many fronts and backs, his work with Quagsire and the carefree pose and the attitude fits her so well! Such a unique pose you do not see everyday. It is like she is floating on a cloud of bliss. In addition we have Magnezone who is looking to arrest grunts and the way she has a scifi edge to her as she sits on the UFO is just impressive. So many great sprites by Orange this month.

Mars is a new artist who has shown so much great skill in just his first few sprites! With work on the Mandibuzz and Dudunsparce the way he is able to combine so many unique elements to his work is inspiring to say the least. From the shakespeare Cubone skull to the fashionable drill for Dudunsparce, Mars has some serious potential in sprites and art and we cannot wait to see more!

We also have Queso, making Fuecoco and Eevee, his work has been growing and the outfits are getting more and more detailed The Fuecoco is so cute and looks like she is challenging to debate and WIN!

We also have Rat Enjoyer, Jackpot and BrownBaggy who have been working so much on icons. We have decided to give them a bigger spotlight next announcment because the amount being made and how much detail in such a small space is always incredible for us and we really want their work to be noticed.

Kana has also been working hard on Alolan Raticate, making this sprite mostly by themself really shows how they have grown and their style is evolving, the Raticate looks really great and the work is getting cleaner.

Cornbread has also been working on Lapras, with a unique outfit and a majestic pose, which makes her look like a mystical being, emphasized by the way she is playing the flute.

And last but not least, BlizzWhite who has been working so hard on so many edits and improvements of sprites. Also the Togetic line, its looking really solid and dynamic, the backsprite and front are always meticulously clean.
