Tuning the DTF printer!

I've been testing xTool's Apparel Printer - it's a monstrous attempt by them to simplify the highly complex, messy and sensitive process of DTF printing. This has previously been the domain of much larger and more complicated 'factory-like' devices - so this is super interesting to me in terms of moving the industrial process into the home.

I'm almost there - been tuning some remaining banding issues as they release updates, so fingers crossed I'll be churning out some interesting tests this week!

It's the size of the HP line printer that I dragged from the work discard pile in 1990; it had worked with a teletype set in a previous life. I got that beast connected to my PC running BSD Unix and happily printed ascii art. I wonder where she is today?
