A wasted install......
Added 2025-07-09 16:00:10 +0000 UTCWell I installed this screen for an upcoming video and thought this was the easiest install I've done in months then...... realised it's broken. The internal spring doesn't retract at all..... <sigh>
So I have a few photos of the entire install and a dozen of me trying to work out what the heck's gone wrong and why it's not working. Totally dud.
Ordered a new one....
PS for Brandon, you can see my U6 that's 'drying out' after my mishap.....!

There is a well documented paradigm for this: Step 1 - get new thing, unpack and test it works. Tick Step 2 - do an initial put in place. loosely fitted and test it works. Tick Step 3 - do the final install, screw everything in place nice and tight, hide/conceal any and all cables - use it for the first time. Fail
