Added 2024-07-28 17:00:03 +0000 UTCAnother one that you were quite interested in, so I thought I'd set it up to start gathering some data for the Body Assistant video we've been chatting about in discord!
Apart from the amusing shape, it looks pretty impressive - one will monitor pool, hot tub, plunge pool water and the other device is designed for testing household water, hotel water, plastic water.
I think it'll be fascinating to see how water quality varies between different sources!! Any creative ideas most welcome!
I'm thinking:
Test city water vs rural water
Plastic bottled spring water (eg microplastic leaching) vs glass water bottles
Rainwater testing

Some sort of global experiment using home assistant data and some call to a web service to collect the data. It’s fun because no one is to blame but our municipalities and source of purchased bottled water.
