Piracy ☠ + Quick Update

Hey guys! Good to see ya! Wanted to give a quick update and talk about pirates!

Recently I've seen more and more people talk about piracy within this community (mostly creators). At the beginning of February, I was shown a website that hosts an archive of Patreon creator pages and posts including downloads for paid content. This site also contained content for OnlyFans, Fangage, AVN stars, etc. For obvious reasons, I'm not sharing the website's name.

I'm gonna be honest. It was extremely demotivating seeing most if not all of my models available to download for free. Looks I I've spent countless hours on. It made my blood boil and I'm finding a lot of creators feel the same way recently. It's mainly the reason why the past couple of months have been very slow as far as my releases go just because of the lack of motivation that this website caused me. However, I was assured by MeshedVR that this is common practice for these leeches. I've since accepted that and figure If someone is going to pirate my stuff, they weren't going to be a long-term supporter anyway. That being said, I've been using that time to figure out a solution to this and I think I have one.

Patreon has built-in welcome notes that give the buyer a custom message. The thought is to use this as a way of giving a code or password that unlocks content outside of Patreon. This way the pirates cant access the paid content for free. This isn't a new idea. A name that comes to mind is KittyMocap, she uses MEGA to host her motion captures and a monthly password to go with the folder link. I've seen others use Discord, Google Drive, Dropbox, and others. Personally, I find Discord just doesn't work as it's just an unnecessary platform for me to use and Drive is just 🤢 Dropbox also wouldn't have enough storage space for what I do.

In short, starting at the beginning of April I'm going to make MEGA the host for my Model downloads. I hope this isn't a bother for anyone as you guys are probably used to just downloading the girls through Patreon ＞︿＜ The biggest problem I see with this is that Vams built-in browser doesn't support the MEGA website anymore. When you click on a Mega link it says that the browser is outdated. This is because the game hasn't been updated in a while and it won't get another update until 2.X releases. As of right now, there is no fix so for now it'll be a little less convenient.
