Latest 5PfH Beset with Tech problems...
Added 2023-07-20 23:19:18 +0000 UTCWhat a few days. In filming the 11th episode of "Five Parsecs From Home", I have had camera problems, audio problems, schedule problems...ugh.
The first time I shot the opening, the camera's auto focus wasn't so "auto" after all; it wound up getting only the *background* in focus. A total wash, had to redo the entire pregame.
Then the second time, I had added a backup wireless lav mic to the mix - but stupidly I did not test it first. Hence, the battle round and the post game audio from my main mic were ruined by signal interference. Rookie mistake!! Luckily, the new mic seems to have been unaffected, so I'm hoping to be able to salvage the hour and a half (!!!) I spent shooting the battle!
That, and this whole episode is already a week behind due to my professional voice over schedule... oy vey. Here's hoping the edit goes smoothly this weekend and I can get the new episode out on Monday...

I feel ya! Recently the file that contained my character profiles for my solo game corrupted! I was livid. Thankfully I had a back up but it was still a pain and worst of all I had to get it done before a flight so wouldn’t be bored on the trip!
