2023-06-01 09:40:55 +0000 UTCI do like the d100 roll high systems MERP and its success Against the Darkmaster, though the d100 roll under can be fun - as you say having your to-hit roll's quality translate directly into damage and severity of critical inflicted feels right and is 'economical' in dice rolling (Cthulhu Eternal with its doubles are crit success or failure also fun but is simpler in design).
