So true on No Rain, No Rainbow. Balling over here. Didn't expect the vulnerability hat Su gets across so well live to come through on the studio version. Just WOW!

2024-10-03 23:30:25 +0000 UTCJohn, you loved Sis Anger and Tales of the Destinies, the best ever version of Sis Anger and the only ever live performance of Tales of the Destinies were both at the 2016 Tokyo Dome shows. The concert spans two nights with no song being repeated. Also, you will get Tales of the Destinies with a piano lead into The One on (I think, Black Night), but I might be wrong about which night it was. If you do Tokyo Dome you will have to do both nights because the concerts are brilliant, but they are stand-alone shows so you can release the first night one time, then a month or so later you can release the second night. But you have to witness both nights, you won't regret it. In fact, I am going to go watch the first night now haha.

2024-07-20 00:28:38 +0000 UTCWell, I haven't listened to the studio version of No Rain, no Rainbow for quite a while, but now it's confirmed that it doesn't need to be live to make me cry. The whole album is awesome, so many good songs, including some of my absolute favourites (YAVA, Syncopation...). It's interesting how flat the sound seems compared to the live versions. I wonder if that's just due to the maximized loudness killing the dynamics.

2024-07-19 18:37:17 +0000 UTCSuch a good album! Couple of thoughts as you went along .... that was Herman Li (and Sam Totman) playing on Road of Resistance - no need for them to eat their hearts out. Syncopation was on the Japanese release, From Dusk Till Dawn was on the international release (buy both if you want both - but the Japanese edition has Syncopation so Japanese fans buy that edition and don't just get the cheaper imported international release). Sis. = Sister (simple as that). Yui and Moa are angry at lazy, feckless boys (a brother perhaps). The translation may be slightly watered down - some of the language (although not obscene) would not be expected from a couple of polite young ladies. 'The One' was filmed at Yokohama on 13th Dec 2015.

2024-07-17 18:53:50 +0000 UTCA few live shows you could pick from the Metal Resistance album era that you haven't already watched. My recommendations for shows of note: Big Fox Festival (Yui's last performance with Babymetal) Dark Night Carnival (Only filmed concert from the "Chosen Seven" era) Babymetal Arises - Beyond the Moon: Legend M (Moa's 20th Birthday show and a good cap off point for the Metal Resistance album era) There's also the Live at Wembley show from the Metal Resistance album launch. The setlist isn't anything you haven't seen before, but it's still a solid show.

2024-07-17 14:27:36 +0000 UTCThis album is freaking awesome and シンコペーション is my favorite song of all time. I wish they would either re-record or remaster their first couple albums as the recordings aren’t all that great.

2024-07-17 13:09:48 +0000 UTCI like how for a moment you completely forgot that Karate MV was basically your first ever BM reaction. I remember, because it was your Download live video where I first showed up, when you were blown away how hard they crushed it live, and I went back and saw that MV reaction right after. I just find it funny, its where it all began for you.

2024-07-17 06:08:43 +0000 UTC“THE ONE” mv was filmed at Yokohama Arena, BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2015 in Japan on 12/13/2015, it’s the first concert that it was played at before the album was released a few months later. “Tales Of The Destinies” has only been performed once at Tokyo Dome 2016. There is “From Dusk Till Dawn” proshot from 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN in 2021 and fancams from L.A. 2016. For the next concert, I suggest BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2018 in Japan Extra Show - DARK NIGHT CARNIVAL - October 28 at Saitama Super Arena.

2024-07-17 05:15:53 +0000 UTCHerman Li eat your heart out? That *was* Herman Li (and Sam Totman) on guitar :-D Sis. Anger - Sis is short for Sister (not to be confused with cis). There are live versions (Tokyo Dome Black Night best version)
