i took my niece’s 5 year-old daughter to Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach in May (making her 2nd concert experience ever a 4-day rock and metal festival that was a 22 hour drive away) and holy crap did she have a blast rocking out during the Electric Callboy set 🤣 before WtR her favorite music artists were Taylor Swift and Fall Out Boy. now her faves are TS, FoB, Electric Callboy, Slipknot, and Slaughter to Prevail 🫶🏻🤘🏻 She made me promise to take her to see EC and StP again next time they’re close to us.

I came for the funny, too, but Mindreader and Parasite are easily my favorite songs on the Album in terms of most replayed :) Crystals is a good Album, but their older stuff is a bit of a mixed bag for me. Definitely prefer them with Nico, but they've been around for so long it's interesting to go back and see where they come from and there are a few great ones in the mix there!

2024-07-11 11:39:47 +0000 UTCSo regarding another album: The first EP they released with Nico as their singer was "MMXX" (which they later re-released as the "Hypa Hypa-Version" with several covers of their song Hypa Hypa of other bands (which you could also check out because tey are amazing!)) Tekkno is the first full album with Nico (and they are currently working on a new one) A little bit of Info regarding "Hurrikan": They auditioned to be the German entry to the Eurovision song contest with Pump it but the organizers thought it was not radio friendly enough. Hurrikan seems like kinda a "f*** you" to them. It combines German Schlager (the beginning) which is kinda German folk/pop music which is often played at beer fests and stuff and on radio Regarding the Schechter guitar from Danskimo: This just came out a few days ago, but it looks so cool (even if I know nothing about guitars xD) Talking about Neon: This is one of my favourite song of theirs, but they sadly don't play it live and as you said it sounds quite straining to Nico's voice (he's almost constantly belting) I think it would be bad for his voice doing this several evenings each week... Regarding seeing them live in Germany: Maybe Escalation Fest next year would be a possibility? It's their own festival (on the 1st February) Also: PLEASE watch recording a live concert of theirs! I would love that! Thank you so much for sneaking this album in!

2024-07-11 09:35:15 +0000 UTCNico went through a series of really bad ear infections and couldn't wear in-ears therefore he would wear the over the ear headphones. He said they didn't do much for noise cancelling however recently he has switched back to in-ears so I think they're cured.
