2024-07-05 02:34:46 +0000 UTCOooh amazing reaction! I really love Motion in the Ocean, the production is amazing and bubble wrap is a treasure, I love the harmonies and violins on this album. And yes, it is heavily inspired by Queen, but actually, McFly says that during the production of this album they were obsessed with this amazing band called "Jellyfish" that has a surrealistic style of pop rock (you can hear that clearly in songs like Transylvania and Little Joanna).

Brian May actually played it with them on one night of their Motion in the Ocean tour, but I don't think theres a good video of it anywhere.
