Hey John, lovin the Taylor Swift reactions but if you want a little break consider reacting to Tim McGraws “Humble and Kind”. It’s a song we all need to hear. Not really a country music fan but this is a good one.

2024-11-18 17:48:39 +0000 UTCShe refers to Folklore and Evermore as sister albums, they were released 5 months apart. Folklore in July 2020 and Evermore in December 2020. She’s said together they represent the 4 seasons of the year… Folklore=Spring/Summer and Evermore=Fall/Winter.

2024-09-12 21:24:55 +0000 UTCPlease do Folklore, IMO it’s her very best. She does another duet with Bon Iver which is my fave song of TS.

2024-09-02 04:07:06 +0000 UTCHey John! Evermore is in my top 3 of Taylor albums. I didn’t think she could write one better than Folklore and then she put out Evermore. Those two albums got me through the pandemic. It’s still my favorite album to listen to in the fall/winter. Fun fact about Marjorie. As you gathered, it’s about her grandmother. Her grandmother was an opera singer and it’s her singing in the background after Taylor sings, “I’d think you were singing to me now” and in the end of the song. Taylor managed to get a recording of her voice to include in the song. I absolutely bawled my eyes out when I saw her perform it at MetLife during the Era’s Tour last year.

2024-07-05 01:55:50 +0000 UTCAlso not a lot of videos or content from this era as it was released peak pandemic (fall 2020) but willow has a music video. Also you should react to the tortured poets department performed live at the eras tour. It was added in france after the album release and it’s a good short content video to watch since you have heard the album: https://youtu.be/fbcnAxdeQYI?si=Q2XUOaTtwyq5d2e5 Here is one link but otherwise just search it because every week she performs it at a new place now and the new videos pop up

2024-07-04 16:42:41 +0000 UTCI love evermore! It’s a sting album. Folklore is above it for me but not by much. TTPD has made me it’s way to the top aswell. I can’t buy an album because it’s not available in my country 😭 but i personally think you need to experiance Speak Now. It’s an earlier album but it’s so 2010 pop/rock influences with country tones underneath that i think you’ll love it. She also wrote all the songs solo because people questioned so much if she actually wrote her songs at that point. So no collabs in the album as far as writing at all! Also Marjorie touches me so much. Such a coinsidence that your grandmas name is the same. For me my grandma passed 2 years ago from ALS and she was my second mom and the song just hits me so much more after that. Love your reactions john🤍

2024-07-04 16:37:00 +0000 UTCI know this is for Reputation album, but she has a making of a song series showing the making of some of the songs on Reputation. You said you wanted to see how some of the songs are made.

2024-07-04 14:12:08 +0000 UTCThanks for doubling checking the playlist! I think I like Evermore overall more than Folklore. I feel you on both Ivy and Evermore. I didn’t like that Ivy was about cheating but damn if it isn't a gorgeous song! The change-up in Evermore always throws me. Marjorie was Taylor's grandmother, that was her in the lyric video (and singing in the background at one point) So glad you are doing album reactions to Taylor!!

2024-07-03 14:56:35 +0000 UTCThere's something about the background guitar in Champagne Problems that almost seems effervescent, like champagne.

2024-07-03 14:43:59 +0000 UTCI'm such an Evermore girl! Also, knowing that Bon Iver's front man is Justin Vernon, when you go back through the song credits you'll see his name quite a lot. He was very much involved with this album.

2024-07-03 12:32:07 +0000 UTCNot super short-form, but there is a really insightful interview she did with Zane Lowe from Apple Music the day she dropped evermore. He asks really great questions and they mostly discuss her songwriting process/inspirations. Would be great to check out if you want to learn more about that!

2024-07-03 03:20:41 +0000 UTCWillow is the only music video for this album and it’s a part 2 of Invisible String. Also I have multiple google docs with links to short form content. I’ll DM you the links. 🫶

2024-07-03 02:21:27 +0000 UTCi do love folklore more but this album is so beautiful as well. you should listen to her doing evermore (not on camera if you don't want to) on the eras tour as a suprise song a few months ago. she did both parts and it's such a beautiful rendition i listen to it on a regular basis https://youtu.be/1-747HPQ1YU?si=7XYHw3OP_AM8nrZZ

2024-07-03 02:04:06 +0000 UTCGreat reaction! I personally like Evermore more than Folklore. She actually wrote the song “Happiness” for her childhood friend Abigail. She was going through a divorce after being with her husband for 7 years.

2024-07-03 02:00:18 +0000 UTCokay so this album only has one mv and its for willow which has been reacted to I believe. It's sad, it was her second pandemic album after folklore and there was literally no content for it.
