Hideki on the drums at the end of the concert is probably thinking this. "Hurry the hell up girls, my legs are about to fall off!" LOL. He's a beast.

Bahahaha I was so confused about this but it’s LYRICS 😂😂😂😂

So, John has found the glory that is: **Sis. Anger** I dislike guys who think only about themselves. You're uncool, super uncool. Don't approach me! I dislike "impossible", "useless", "it's reached the limit". They're uncool, super uncool. I don't wanna hear them. I will knock your ill-nature into shape. Burn! Burn your anger hidden inside! "Stop kidding! Hey, you!" It doesn't matter to win or lose. "Stop kidding! Hey, you!" It is only to be serious or not that matters. I dislike! dislike! dislike! dislike! Fighting spirit! spirit! spirit! spirit! You, stupid guy! I dislike guys who are not serious but only make excuses. Stop kidding! I got super irritated. Don't turn your dirty face to me! I dislike guys who can't do it but pretend to be tough. Stop kidding! I got really irritated. Get out of my sight! I will knock your ill-nature into shape. I will burn up everything with flare of anger. "Stop kidding! Hey, you!" It doesn't matter to be skillful or awkward. "Stop kidding! Hey, you!" You may think back but may not regret. Fight! Fight against sneaking temptation! Fight! Fight! Shout out your anger! "Stop kidding! Hey, you!" You say "sorry"? You say "forgive me"? What do I do with you? "Stop kidding! Hey, you!" It's a lie? Flattery? Ready for anything! Bring it on!

There is an elevator that goes up the central pillar of the stage.

Maybe only Mikio could play that solo in Tales

Jim Nusbaum

I think they just wanted to let both Mikio and Leda have a chance to play in front of this audience but I don't really know the reason they switched off.

Jim Nusbaum

Leda has frequently played a Strandberg (or some other headless guitar brand). He played one here, in Legend Metal Galaxy and many others. And as mentioned he is not new. I consider him one of the main members of the original East Kami Band as he played with them from very early and consistently thoughout Babymetal's career. He is an excellent technical player but is frequently overshadowed by Takayoshi's expressive playing and stage presence.

One thing that probably few fans of other bands can relate to, is how happy it makes us to see the girls so happy at the end of their shows. They are the only thing that brings such a big smile to my face. And in this particular case, Su trolling Moa with the mic is priceless.

Thanks John! The Babymetal concert reactions are awesome...especially when they play a song you have not yet heard! Great content!

Excellent, you have to love Tokyo Dome, Black Night. You do know guitarist Leda Cygnus, you've seen him before, maybe you haven't seen him playing that guitar before and it threw you. He, Takayoshi Ohmura and Mikio Fujioka were the regular guitarists from 2012/2013 and after Mikio's untimely death in January 2018 ISAO (who had played with the Kami Band before) came in a bit more often. Leda Cygnus is the only (known) Kami Band member to have played on some of the studio recordings (guitar and bass) and he even wrote the guitar arrangements for 'No Rain, No Rainbow' (the ballad Su sang here - an homage to X Japan's 'Endless Rain'). Legend has it Hideki Aoyama had to be carried off stage at the end after the marathon double kick drumming at the end. Well done spotting Su trolling Moa with the mic at the end, they were all having so much fun.

Thank you S, and thank you John. This was a great reaction. Many people regard the 2016 Tokyo Dome performances as 'peak Babymetal', and until early 2023, I pretty much agreed. Babymetal had big plans going forward after the TD concerts, however, other things got in the way. Mikio died, Yui left for unspecified health issues and Babymetal went on as a duo. Then the Avengers were added, and it all looked a little confused and lacking a clear direction. Su and Moa struggled on and kept the show on the road, but it was stuttering a little. Then Covid19 came and forced them into an almost two-year hiatus. During this time there was much speculation as to whether Babymetal would return. Fast forward to January 2023 and Babymetal returned to live performances and since then they have left no doubt in any of their fans' minds, that peak Babymetal lies at some point in the distant future, and that we have many wonderful Babymetal performances to come.

Hell yeah man, great reaction! Legend has it that when William Wallace from Braveheart stood against the English, and said… HOLD! HOLD! NOOOOOW! Was actually the start to Road of Resistance, and the most epic wall of death. Apparently, Babymetal travelled back in time using the “Mint Flavored Time Machine” mentioned in the song “Awadama Fever”, so they can play that bagpipe folk-metal song “Meta Taro” for the Scotts, thus leading to their victory and history as we know it. True story bro…. 😎 Guitarist with the headless black guitar is Leda Cygnus. He’s been a core member since the beginning. He was in place of Takayoshi (pink glam guitar) in Legend 1997, and in place of Mikio in Budokan Black Night, so you’ve seen him twice before already! Leda also has credits on a few Babymetal songs. I believe he wrote a few guitar or bass parts. Not sure which songs though. Also, there’s an elevator in the center column of the stage. That’s how Babymetal got up on top of the stage. Look forward to the next one!! 🤘🦊

They need to bring back black Babymetal and Su solos in their next album now that they're back to being three

I hope you follow up with the Fox Festival Ladies night if you can find it. The girls were so happy with all the ladies in the audience.

PaulG

good reaction and thank you very much for the reaction! The guitarist you mentionned is Leda Cygnus he was also there for the early babymetal days so hes not completely brand new.. Im sure other people can talk more a out him than me but he is also a phenomenal player. I will probably be requestion the wembley concert next we kinda skipped it over.. my bad.

s

So impressive. It is too bad that reactors cannot see these amazing two nights of Babymetal excellence due to blocks and copyright strikes.
