2024-04-29 23:44:48 +0000 UTCI don't remember what video it was (mayyyyybe a Resurrection Session mini doc?) but Tom & Dougie mentioned on a lot of their first songs the bass parts were written on piano, which is part of why Dougie's lines can be so busy and jump around so much on what are seemingly fairly simple songs. I think he really has just always loved the bass and his goal was to become a bassist from jump and that passion created an excellent home for his talent to grow.

2024-04-28 00:02:30 +0000 UTCso glad u loved this! i'm not sure if u know or not but the anthology tour was where they played 3 back to back nights in 4 cities , and each night they played their albums in their entirety - night 1 was room on the third floor and some extra songs as the end as it was just one album, night two was wonderland and motion in the ocean, and night 3 was radio:ACTIVE and above the noise it was mcflys first show back in 3 years because of the mcbusted years harry got his scar at school, someone opened a single pane window as he was running past and he ran into it which cut his head
