Really like the fox tail skirts. Reminds me of multi-tailed fox. Not sure if they were going for 9 tailed or less but is really cool.

Michael Webber

I probably wouldn't have noticed it either, but Rick Wagner mentioned it once a while back.

Yes!, Watch it all in order

Thank you S and thank you John. This was an amazing concert. I have never watched this before, but you can bet it's going to be on high rotation from here on in. I was a little worried going in that this concert doesn't feature really in Babymetal's YouTube reactor videos, but I know why now. This concert was so brilliant, AMUSE is protecting their DVD and BluRay sales. I completely get that, and to be fair, AMUSE does allow access to many songs for reactors to put on their channel, yet there are just some tracks you simply won't get uploaded. I reckon this concert fits in the "good luck getting any of these tracks uploaded" class. Thanks John, thanks S. This was two hours well-spent.

Wow, I canโ€™t believe I never noticed the outer lit foxes myself in Onedari Daisakusen, thanks for pointing that out! I seen this video a couple times now too! Lol

Metal Resistance album next

James Guerrero

The songs you didn't recognize were from their second album, which I'd recommend listening to before doing more live performances. I'm ready for a full album reaction!

Altraax

Excellent thanks. I'm glad you noticed when Su did 'Rondo of Nightmare' just the middle giant sphinx/fox head was lit up. Did you notice when Yui and Moa did 'Onedari Daisakusen' the two outer ones were lit and the centre one wasn't? In all the other songs all 3 girls were on stage so all 3 were lit up. If you want to watch all the lives from all the DVDs ... well I won't complain.

๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ… ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐ŸฆŠ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ Trilogy is Epic! and to do all them ? yes of course

Serega Molodets

Karate, Awadama Fever and Yava are all Metal Resistance songs and you haven't done that album yet. That is why you hadn't heard Awadama Fever and Yava.

Jim Nusbaum

I think one aspect of the guitar sound is that itโ€˜s bone dry with hardly any reverb at all. I notice this especially at the beginning of Rondo Of Nightmare. I wonder whether this was the premiere of Karate, as it got its own kamishibai, and the crowd didnโ€™t seem to participate much?

MacTaipan

Maybe I'm mistaken but I think this was the first big concert with Karate in the setlist.

PaulG

Great one!! This is an epic show. I canโ€™t wait for your 2nd album review, then Wembley 2016, and the 2 nights at Tokyo Dome. BTW, the encore, โ€œThe Oneโ€ was originally 2nd part of one giant song, that was split in two. It is preceded by โ€œTales of The Destiniesโ€. That song is so prog and technical, and a nod to Dream Theater. Mike Portnoy himself gave it his personal thumbs up. It was only played live once, day 1 of Tokyo Dome, and followed by The One. ๐Ÿค˜๐ŸฆŠ

Ganimal

Yes! Look that up from Omajination youtube channel. She also has 2 shorts showing the on stage antics between Momo and Moa during Metali!

Ganimal

John, since you love Megitsune so much (and who doesn't) you should look for the "hengao" (strange face) that Moa makes at Su and or Yui/Momo in pretty much every Megitsune since 2014? When Su comes out with the mask and Moa jumps up and shakes the kitsune at Su she makes a hengao and sometimes Su makes one back or just laughs. You can see it in this performance. There are some videos of all the hengaos from various tours from fancams and such.

Jim Nusbaum

Peak Kami Band. This lineup was the most skilled and expressive. I really want to cry though when I see Mikio play.

Jim Nusbaum

They had a piano and strings on stage for Legend S. Maybe for some other shows? But very rare. Almost always just on track.

Great video, thanks for this! What a great show! The instruments, the production and vocals are all top-notch (and I love the crowd tossing around money during Onedari Daisakusen). I will be seeing them for the first time in Japan for FOX_FEST alongside Electric Callboy and Polyphia! I cannot wait!

Jimmy Pullano

Thank you very much for this! Next up i recommend the tokyo dome nights :).

Best LIVE band on the planet. And they were only (Suzuka - 16? / Moa and Yui - 14?) What an astounding display of professionalism and discipline at such a young age. Absolutely incredible. First time seeing this concert. Best of all that I have seen. Thanks for this.
